I reached out to David Lippman with Lippman Recupero for assistance with collecting on an overdue account, he was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining our options and the process. I received a call which I returned. Mathew came on the line and asked me to verify who I am. Since they called me I had no idea who they were and giving out my birthday and other non public information was not something I was willing to do until I validated who I was in fact calling. Mathew terminated the call, as in, hung up. I called back not to be confrontational and spoke with Mathew again. I asked him if there was any other information I could provide besides personal information. He asked for the last 4 of my social. Again, without knowing who they were I was not comfortable giving my personal information with all the scams. He explained to me that without me validating who I am he could not speak to me. I gave a two star instead of a 1. While he was rude on call one when I called back and spoke with him in a reasonable voice he seemed to calm down a little bit. Like many of the other reviews I would say his bed side manners could improve. Not all people that may owe debt deny it and not all people are rude. I am sure collecting debt is a very negative job and his attitude is a direct reflection of that. Hope this helps and I hope that Matthew has a better day.

Constant harassing phone calls. The gentleman would not tell me his name. Very ride. Unfortunately I was forced to deal with this un organized sad company. Please avoid at all possible this company. I will file a complaint with the BBB.

There is no option for zero stars. My wife had a judgement against her from an accident where she was hit by someone who was at at fault. However she was divorcing at the time and her ex had canceled their insurance without her knowing and she was judged at fault for not having insurance.
She had set up payment plans with auto withdrawal from her checking. In December of 2020, Lippman had changed the financial company that processed the payments. We never received a letter, phone call or email informing us we needed to set up payment processing with a new company. The payments stopped and we wrongfully assumed it was a covid relief suspension and they would start up when the period of time was done.
We had forgotten about it until November 2022 when we were renewing her tags and found her license and registration were suspended for going into default. We were never notified of this either. We had no option to reinstate payments and were forced to pay the 6000.00 in full. We were told reinstatement would would take 21 business days. Now in 1/24/2023, they still have not submitted satisfaction of debt with AZMVD. To date we have ONLY received one empty envelope from them in December, and after a frustrating phone call with their STILL CLOSED FOR COVID19 office, received a SCANNED copy of the document, not a wet copy the MVD requires.
We have spent over 20 hours and 10 wasted trips at the MVD trying to get this resolved. Not too mention missed time at work due to transportation issues this has caused us.
There is gross incompetence in their office, and as they are all working remotely it is nearly impossible to get any assistance from them whatsoever.
My name will not be in your system, it is my wife Mary's account.
To this date, MVD has not received any documentation from Lippman.

I was a co-signer on a car loan. The primary defaulted on the loan. Next thing I know, this company has a credit collection account against me. They never went after the primary person on the loan and stated his name isn’t even in the file anymore. Way to be dirty. Time to file bankruptcy

I was overwhelmed with debt and was sent to Lippman Recupero to resolve the issue with a credit card company.
Today is bitter sweet. My debt has been resolved. Hooray! However, I'll miss the support that Matt provided to me through my financial struggle. Best Wishes for the new year to Matt and his Co-workers Lippman Recupero.
