Life is good, your career is prosperous, you’re loved by your kid, you’re grateful to life for a promising future, then you receive that appalling phone call. Someone is telling you that you’re being investigated by the police, falsely accused of the worst crime you can imagine, and that you must call a lawyer. And you’re advised to contact Attorney Rick Lougee. That happened to me, it may be happening to you as you read this, and I was very fortunate to get Lougee’s name. I’m the living case-dismissed proof that hiring Rick Lougee is the right decision when your entire life is in jeopardy. Always keep in mind Lougee’s principle: You never talk to the police. From my experience, Lougee operates using three strategies: He is brashly honest and clear with you about the difficulties of the case. And in a most disgraceful act, the police department destroyed all the evidence that we know existed. This triggered the dismissal of my case. During all my predicament journey of my case, I felt confident that Rick would use all his experience and talents to destroy the prosecution’s case in order to save me from a terrible fate. Here is my story. My husband was charged with a felony sex crime. As an immigrant with two young children I did not have any idea about what to do or whom to go to. My son was accused of four counts of sexual misconduct with a minor. Rick took the case he visited him immediately and communicated with us as to what the situation was. We were told he could receive a sentence of up to 30 years, we were devastated. I was accused by an overzealous local prosecutor of a bogus molestation charge that could have landed me in prison for 20+ years. Which means, the rest of my life. I had to defend my friend who was rendered unconscious and myself against an attack and it resulted in the death of one of the attackers. I was charged with murder in the second degree.
