Matthew went above and beyond for me during a horrible chapter in my life. I had no prior criminal record and had an unfortunate situation turn into a felony arrest right when the Covid lockdown started. Because of Covid it took over a year of going to court dates on zoom and going back and forth with the prosecutors, but ultimately Matthew was able to get all my charges dismissed. He kept me in the loop every step of the way. He explained things to me in a way i understood. I never had an issue getting in touch with him, he was always personally available to answer my questions. I got a ticket during the middle of a move from one state to another for forgetting to renew my tags and registration. I didnt realize I actually had to go to court, and ended up with a failure to appear. I've never been in any kind of legal trouble prior, and I had reached out to several firms to find a lawyer. Matthew helped us with my daughter’s case. She’s young and he was able to get on her level to explain things to her but also he was more than willing to keep me in the loop every step of the way. Matthew allowed me to have the best experience being the first lawyer I’ve ever had to have AND HOPEFULLY THE LAST LOL, but I had a felony charge due to the changing of laws through state borders and a DUI/Poss of alcohol as a minor and he got me the best deal and now I’m able to live my life again. When I came to Mr. Flemister I had very low hopes for anyone to be able to help me. After only a month he had not only done more than the public defender had done in 6-7 months but he also had put my mind at ease but made sure to be honest by telling me nothing is certain. I was given two traffic tickets that would’ve cost me a lot of money and suspended my license but he was able to bring up the weird circumstances surrounding the tickets to get them to completely drop any charges. I was just hoping to at least get one of them dropped but he went above and beyond and I could not have been happier about the outcome.
