Please don’t ever get this Lawyer. I got in trouble for something that my other Lawyer would’ve got me out of. Now my friend is dealing with the same thing. Bad choice

My attorney through The Law Offices of David L Powell is Bailey Riggs. At the time I hired Bailey I was faced with having to obtain new council as my former attorney retired earlier than expected. Bailey jumped right in. Bailey helped me get through an incredibly stressful time. He did so with great professionalism, attention to detail, and thoughtfulness. I would highly recommend Bailey Riggs for any legal needs you may have. I know if or when I need legal advice or help, Bailey will be the one I will call.

Inconsiderate and impolite The service was a complete nightmare. For more than half a year, they consistently postponed the same appointment. They would typically cancel an appointment within an hour of the planned time. The lawyers who were required to attend the sessions would either forget or not show up on multiple occasions. Perhaps increased communication amongst attorneys would improve client service. We never held the meeting even after a few months had passed. But this week, we finally got a call from David Powell informing us that, after two years of pending our case with no results, they had ultimately chosen not to pursue our lawsuit against the Crawford County detention facility. Based on my experiences I would not recommend. Do not entrust your justice or the justice of a loved one in their hands.

My experience with David Powell was horrible. He was very dishonest and I feel like I was represented by someone from the prosecuting attorneys office. He, along with the prosecuting attorney railroaded me into a plea deal over a case that was self-defense, told me I would only serve a few months in prison, I served 3 years. He obviously does not know anything about how ADC works or the parole board. I would have been better off being represented by the public defenders office. Oh and he lied to the veterans court people about my case. Do NoT hire!!!
