My daughter and I spoke with two attorneys for a consultation concerning her divorce and custody issues. Her husband had taken the children, slammed and broken her phone, and taken her car with their two small children. All this after years of physical abuse. You know what the attorney had the nerve to tell her when she said she felt hostage in her own home.... "well you could have done something. Could have run into the middle of the street and screamed for help." Are you kidding me!! They know nothing about domestic abuse. Maybe this is the common attitude in Arkansas...but trust me, not in Oregon. Disgusting.
