Cons
1
The lawyer did not communicate well with the client, often not returning phone calls or emails, and not keeping the client informed about the case
“she doesn't return any phone calls or e-mail. she charged us over $7000.00 to defend us. but then she doesn't do anything on our case.”
2
The lawyer was incompetent and unprofessional, failing to fulfill her responsibilities and leading to the client having to hire another attorney
“she kept telling me she would represent one half of my case and refund half of my fees for the other attorney that i had to hire only to find out she was not handling any of my case and charge me a almost the entire amount of the retainer.”
3
The lawyer made threats and accusations without proper background information, causing distress for the client and their family
“Reed initiated this threat based on our mother having problems finding her car in a parking lot. Even after educating Reed of all the care & effort continually made in love towards our mother and all the people (family, friends, Church individuals, doctors, etc.) involved with our mother on a daily basis and even after informing Reed that my wife, who has guardianship and who takes care of everything for her mother and who has Multiple Sclerosis, Reed still coldly & purposely chooses to end the conversation by saying that in Reed having her assistant help our mother find her car, that she has in effect done much more for our mother than we have.”
