I spoke with WH Law after another firm I'd been speaking with just stopped communicating. They are incredibly professional, thorough, and responsive (a HUGE green flag!). We walked through the process and got an idea of what bankruptcy would look like for me. Even though I decided I would not benefit from bankruptcy, everyone was very friendly and encouraged me to get back in touch if my circumstances changed. They're not just looking for your money, they truly want you to make an informed decision and improve your financial situation.

Awful communication. Sent several messages to lawyer Brett Abernathy that went unanswered. Some of his responses over their WH app were as short as 2 words. We spent quite a bit of money for little to no legal advice other than that we should pay or else he would be “forced to withdraw”. The last 3 questions prior to that message weren’t answered. We initially decided to withhold payment to seek counsel elsewhere. In the 3 days we have had new counsel we have spoken more to her than we did Brett in the 3 months prior. Also, Brett should really show up to court in a suit that doesn’t look like it wasn’t wet and wadded up in a gym bag for the week leading up to court.

The reason I didn't hire WhLaw is we worked out the differences between us for now. The future could be different. Time will tell. Thank you Chris Brown
