LONG POST WARNING I'm using my google email and yes I have spoke with and met with your firm before you respond So where do I start with this company. Well the good was the lady who called me when I created the inquiry online was nice and helpful. The lady who did the follow up call was nice as well. Now for the bad and odd part of my experience with Berg. 1) The intake person called me after it was already explained that I couldn't meet with him until after 5 pm. He calls me at 4:01 PM asking if he could come now, mind you I already explained that I had to drop off my car and get a rental. I told him that's not possible as explained in the earlier conversation. So once i leave the body shop and rental car office which is about 4:45 pm I say you can come now and we can start the process. He stated he would arrive in 5 mins since he was close. Well he did show until 10 mins after 5 pm. which leads me to the bad #2 I'm sitting out front with my 90lbs German Shepard soaking up the sun as it was a nice day. As I'm waiting on him to come. Normal folks park in front or somewhere close to the house they're visiting. 2) He parks about 8 houses down from my house. Walks up to in the middle of the street and my dog sees him and stands and growls. At this point I'm like dumb move on your part. I tell her to sit and stay but she sees him as a threat and goes towards him and I couldn't grab her leash as my should and back are in pain and could cause more damage. She runs up to him and her bark is bigger then her bite. So I call her back to me and my son rushes out to assist with getting her in the house. He then turns and yells at me to get my dog and put her up as he sees she in the house. I then tell him I understand you're scared but your tone needs to change when addressing me. You walked up on my house coming from behind us and she did what dogs normally do and that's to protect their owner. He still is talking to me crazy and I had to explain you're on my property and this is not how this meeting is going to go. We exchange words and I tell him that I don't have to sign with this company. He then walks away and makes a call to the attorney he's working for. She calls me and states he sorry about that and wants to finish the process. That was the first red flag that I ignored and I continued with the process. As I was reading over the paperwork, I notice that they charge for 10% on top of paying them back for any documents they request from from hospitals and any other documents needed. I said on top of the 33 1/3% you already are charging, you're also charging me for any paperwork you have to request? I said no I'm not okay with that and he calls the attorney and she waived the 10% and i let her know i don't want to use your doctors and I will use my own. This is where I started to rethink this whole process of using them. I said you and your team of doctors will profit and I'm the injured. But I stilled signed BIG DUMB MISTAKE ON ME I KNOW. So today i received a call from their office telling me that they are referring me a affiliate attorney after they sat at the round table. So which means they realized that they couldn't get over on me with all the fees and using their doctors. PLEASE RESEARCH AND DON'T RUSH OR FEEL PRESSURED TO SIGN BECAUSE THEY ARE PUSHING YOU TO.

Just writing to say it's been four or five years since this review and I still consider this a very hurtful chapter of my life the financial ramifications were enough but the emotional scars have not gone away.. Sure, the reviews are great, they do seem to win a lot for their clients. Wonder how it would be if we heard from more people on the other end. The way my case was handled made me feel bullied. The statement to my insurance company was full of lies. The main thing that hurts is that Berg didn't once talk to me or even see pictures of my vehicle. The fact that they refused to talk to me is frustrating even though I understand why they would do it. There seems to be no regard to the fact that all parties are human beings whether deemed "at fault" or not. I was treated horribly. The reviews are great from clients Berg Injury Lawyers changed my life for the worse. My car was totaled by a speeding driver. I had just pulled from a curb and didn't even need to move my car after impact because I was just starting to move. The other had fairly minor damage and was fixed after a few days. I was found 100% responsible for a situation that,if anything,should have just been judged partially my fault. Berg stated that I have "tortously" pulled from the curb. Imaging what a person would have to do to pull from a stop to 3 inches in the road with force enough to total the car. I could go on about what I went through and the impact still on my life. The other driver got substantial settlement. I on the other hand went months without a car and my insurance rates are doubled. Not once did I hear from Berg except to be asked about my income. I have noticed that only reviews with 4 or 5 stars are getting responded to here.
