MBK Chapman deserves more then 5 stars. I needed help with some business matters. They were so easy to talk to , answered my questions quickly and gave me many options. I have dealt with other firms in the past, and was very dissatisfied. Then I was referred to MBK, what a difference. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends & family. 10 Stars!!!

Talking to Dale, I was 100% sure I had found the law firm I was looking for. It was remarkable the time Dale spent with me to understand every detail of my situation and case. I never felt rushed. I googled different legal firms to consult on a current HOA situation involving a group of individuals abusing and making “exclusive use” of common area facilities, intimidating and bullying others, while the Board on site turns a blind eye and the management company goes along with it. I had done quite a bit of research before hand to arm myself with the right questions to ask prior to contacting the firm and make the best of time of any initial consultation. First of all, landing on the MBK Chapman website, their user friendly content and targeted information, gave me just the right amount of comfort to feel that I would be contacting the right firm to give me a good orientation and assist me if need be. In addition they had very good google reviews. Hence at that point I did not mind at all that I would spend $375- on an initial I hour consultation “strategy meeting”. I was assisted by Connie when I first called who had me promptly contacted by Dale (Client Services Specialist). Dale was very friendly and attentive carefully taking notes of my situation to know to which attorney to refer me to for the 1 hour consultation, later followed by Ms Lawsin, who forwarded all of my documentation to the attorney as a reference during our upcoming talk. I had been referred to attorney Michael Zar for the 1-hour consultation, and though I could not find specific google reviews on him, I was so grateful and impressed after our phone meeting. I cannot speak highly enough about Mr Zar. First of all he had actually reviewed some of my documents prior to our call which I know they are not obligated to, but he had, and that made our phone call that much more productive. Mr Zar knew exactly which questions to ask me concerning the situation and could afterwards very succinctly recap in legal but user friendly terms the situation I am confronted with. I took copious notes when speaking with Mr Zar and had a few more questions afterwards, which he very kindly returned in a subsequent phone call, before forwarding a “Fee Agreement” explaining our next steps for engagement. I am currently awaiting on a few more HOA pending decisions to happen before deciding if engaging the services will be necessary, but however I will have zero hesitation to do so if it is required and will feel in excellent hands with Mr Zar. To recap, all of the folks at MBK Chapman have been courteous and professional to deal with, and Mr Zar is a brilliant, empathetic, down to earth attorney that as it was gave me a great amount of mental relief to a stressful situation, and someone I will not hesitate to engage should I need to. If you have an HOA or neighbor to neighbor dispute type situation, do yourself a favor and spend the dollars to have a well worth it consultation hour or Strategy meeting with MBK Chapman – it could very well save you in the long run.

While it would take considerable time to fully describe all the issues involved and the way our unstable HOA board was addressing the modification of our controlling documents and the sham voting, I laid out the issues to Michael Zar of MBK Chapman. he listened, understood and gave me wise counsel in a clear and economically reasonable fashion. I have since referred individual owners to them for further advice dealing with a rather egregious board. Thank you.
