I was faced with an ugly family related issue that had a fast approaching deadline and a possible negative outcome. Loriann Owens took my case and saved the day. Like a Samurai warrior she adroitly sliced her way to the heart of the issue trimming away a lot of nonsense and negotiated a reasonable settlement for me. She brings a robust attitude to her work. Upon our initial phone call I immediately felt that she was a capable advocate who was really going to fight for me. It was done quite simply she listened, made a plan, took action and when the time came she hit hit hard and hit accurately. I am very pleased by what she was able to accomplish for me and recommend her without reservation

Family law can be difficult to navigate, lawyers and other professionals can focus too much on what they can do by law without thinking about the people involved and how it may affect them later. Loriann is a great lawyer and person. She doesn't file needlessly, so the process isn't as ugly or costly. She communicates clearly, offers options and she advises based on what's in the best interest of her clients and their families long term. In hearings, Loriann is a strong speaker. She comes prepared and her questions are thoughtful. She's been a fantastic lawyer for me and I'd recommend her to anyone.

If I could give zero stars I would, because we had absolutely the worst experience with Ms. Owens. What should have been a very easy case for us to recover our damages turned into a long dragged out nightmare due to her lack of communication with us or opposing counsel, she cancelled depositions at the last minute after we had arranged to take time off from work, failed to inform of us important court dates, and even failed to appear at a court date where we were left to address the judge by ourselves. I believe we would have been much better off representing ourselves in small claims court.

There are no words to describe the amount of gratitude we have for Lori. All her attention to detail, her time and effort in supporting us through our battle during a very tough time in our lives. We couldn’t have gotten through it without her. If you want a lawyer who actually cares about your issues and your case, you need to hire Lori. She will do everything she can for you, what more could you ask? Lori is THE best.
