I have worked with Matthew for many years in the professional arena on mutual clients and hold his expertise, professionalism, and handling of client matters in the highest regard. I need to be able to rely on an attorney treating a referral, client or otherwise, to a high level of service and have their issues addressed promptly and proficiently. In my experience with Matthew, he has always provided exceptional service and I will continue to rely on him and his firm as a source of premier legal advice in estate planning and litigation on the Central Coast.

I've worked with Matthew for a few years now. We started working together as a referral I received and he was able to provide guidance on a real estate transaction I was working on. Matthew did a great job, was very responsive, knowledgeable, and did a great job. Now I contact him regularly with questions and/or additional help or legal advice. I would highly recommend he and his staff.

We recently incorporated our business and were not very knowledgeable in regards to all it entailed. We consulted Matthew and I couldn't be more pleased. His warm and understanding demeanor made it easy for him to explain all of the legal terms and conditions in easy to understand language for us. I cannot state strongly enough what a complete and utter disappointment Matthew O’Leary has been as an attorney.  He wasted 16 months during which he did nothing, strung me along making promises, possibly causing irreparable harm and as yet undetermined damages to me.  He did not perform on a single promise.  He did not follow through on a single issue or matter he agreed to pursue.  Matthew O’Leary’s complete lack of professionalism, and disrespect shown to me as his client is greater than anything I’ve ever experienced from anyone, even from opposing counsel in highly contentious matters.  His negligence and complete disregard for his legal and ethical obligations are truly astonishing. I got absolutely $0 value for the money I paid him. I may as well have held $5,000 over a toilet and flushed it.
