Incompetent attorney that doesn’t fight for you. He creates court dates then is not prepared to argue your case, loses focus, doesn’t have a plan to win and takes your money. Unprofessional.. he does not answer questions or return emails or calls. His wife is his secretary and legal assistant that also will not call you back and makes you feel like your an imposition and wasting her time.. Both should retire and stop pretending to practice law!

I would not trust this man to go to court . He is not aggressive, and in fact will let things drag on for years and years without resolution. He is extremely difficult to reach for communication regarding a case and does not truly know the client not their wishes. He is complete waste of money.If you want to spend a lot of money and loss in court your custody case and your court case than this is the man for you!! Don't waste your time or money, choose another lawyer.

On my first visit to Ira Stoker's office he told me that he would get me more custody of my child on the first court date and even more custody over the next 6 months. We went to court only one time and nothing changed except for a little more holiday time that was requested by the other party. He asked me to bring him paperwork to his office, and when I showed up no one was there. I waited for over an hour. When they finally called me back they said to just leave it in there mailbox so I did and he didn't even bring it to court. He did no research into the case at all. We payed him 4 thousand dollars to do a job that he promised would get done and he did absolutely nothing at all! It has been two months now and the paperwork that you file after the hearing still has not been filed. This man is a liar and a thief. If you give him your money he will do nothing for you. I personally am writing letters to the bar to see that this man has to answer for his actions.
