They gave me false information about landlord-tenant law--twice, two different people, several years apart.Both times they told me that the master tenant does not have to legal power to evict a subtenant.
I wrote this to the head of the agency, Zoe Polk. No answer.

EBCLC is an extremely valuable community resource and I'm extremely grateful for the professional and friendly services I received: accurate legal guidance, help with documentation, explanations re: consumer advocacy law, and personal support. The cost of private legal representation, alone is far above what many folks' can afford, yet we are entitled to benefit from our country's legal protection.
