George has helped me tremendously! After being involved in a car accident for the first time in my life I had no idea what to do or what the next step should be. After asking around friends and family I was referred to George who was very courteous, professional, and trustworthy. He took care of all aspects of the case without me having to worry about anything except getting better. I will definitely be recommending his legal services to friends and family!

Mr. Chakmakis returned my call on a Friday night which is highly unusual for a lawyer. He was very compassionate and gave excellent advice. I ended up going with another attorney that I was referred to, however, I highly recommend Mr. Chakmakis if you're in a bad way. He was helpful to both me and my daughter when we were in crisis.

My husband and I were being harassed by our condo HOA re: our emotional support animal (ESA) being over the building's weight limit. One board member even reported a fake incident asserting he violently attacked her to initiate HOA's efforts against us. While we had personally defended our incredibly well-behaved ESA & provided board with various state & federal legislation supporting our animal residing with us, as well as the prescribing doctor's letter explaining need for service dog, (the latter being the only true requirement for an ESA who is over building weight limit), the HOA was still illegally demanding removal of dog. We clearly needed someone with a legal background to get our points across, ideally via a simple cease & desist letter, as we had no desire to sue the HOA, which would only penalize our neighbors most of whom are sane, friendly and not supporting the Board's actions in this matter. Amidst a sea of lawyers requesting aggressively large retainers up front, George Chakmakis stood out permitting us to pay an appropriate fee to discuss matter in person & then write requested letter. Within a few days of our meeting, George sent our HOA a well-worded letter introducing himself representing us in matter, effectively ceasing the Board from directly harassing us. He concisely detailed the laws protecting us and where the HOA had violated our rights. Chakmakis demanded withdrawal of HOA's demand for removal of ESA and all penalties they had placed on us. He firmly stated that we will initiate legal procedures unless they complied in writing, seeking punitive damages, reimbursement for interest, costs and attorney's fees. Pleased to say we received confirmation that the matter has been dropped as a result of our attorney, George Chakmakis's effective and thorough work. Should we ever need help in future legal matters, he will certainly be our first call. He's an honest, hardworking, knowledgeable attorney. George examines the full picture and legitimately sees clients as individuals, who he can guide and advocate for, versus simply craft into a hearty meal ticket. He has earned our trust.
