I retained Ninaz Saffari last year to represent my nephew for a robbery case. He was facing several years in prison due to his offensives as a juvenile, which are used when you're an adult. They are counted as stikes. She was very through and really cared about him and the outcome. She filed for a Mental Health Diversion Program. She was in contact with a rehabilitation specialist to get him into that program as well. The final outcome was he was granted the Mental Health Diversion Program. My son who was diagnosed with ADHD and part of a 504 program a was accused of harassment in school which posed protocol to call law enforcement. My son was therefore in review to be expelled and suspended with possible criminal charges which was a complete nightmare for us. Our family was very ignorant of the juvenile criminal legal system and never thought we would even be in a situation like this. By getting in contact with Ninaz Saffari, she took the time to talk with my family and give us all of the alternative solutions to help my son. By taking on her advice and getting in contact with my son's doctors and psychologist we found out that he was autistic and had impulse control issues which in turn came out to a misunderstanding. Ninaz was able to get in contact to the right people to sort out this issue and there were no criminal charges. His expulsion and suspension was removed and we had open dialogue with the school. By being swift decisive and empathetic, Ninaz was able to sort out the misunderstanding and now my son is getting the additional help he needs from the school, doctors, and psychologist. This is an intuitive, honest and objective attorney that follows up. I strongly suggest to use her if your child encounter a situation like this. Even as very involved parents, now I realize these situations that seem so far remote from the way we live can happen to anyone.
