I am so grateful that I hired Pershing to represent me in my unemployment case. It seemed to be pretty black and white, but my former employer showed up to fight my claim, and I’m so glad I had Assaf(and others) there to prepare and support me through my hearing. I hope to not need them ever again, but I wouldn’t hesitate to use them if the need came again. Highly recommended.

I literally just finished my appeal hearing for my UI EDD denial of benefits. After dealing with over 6 months of delays due to EDD backlog claims and appeals in addition to my former employers misinformation and errors provided to EDD, I felt it best to defend my case with legal representation. With that said and my appeal hearing now over I can say with assurance that I am more than happy I made that choice and went with Pershing Square Law Firm to represent me and my case. Their knowledge of the overall appeal process along with first hand experience working the appeal case process with hearing judges really shows and is extremely helpful in both clarifying things for both myself the claimant and the hearing board judge. They were able to understand my particular case and surrounding details and facts and articulate them in a very straightforward and effective manner. I am obviously still awaiting the final decision from the judge but even being pessimistically optimistic, I would be shocked if the judge did not rule in my favor. Assaf was a great lawyer. He went up and beyond to resolve my case. His attention to detail with his expertise with the matter subject was superb. Took along time, was hired to get my back pay but due to a snafu with edd they represented me in that one instead. The whole staff should be put up for sainthood after dealing with me and mine. End results are good was granted a favorable decision.
