Please read all reviews before considering this place ! I’m going to be extremely honest if you want your credit messed up due to a collection then this place is for you ….. luckily I know how to remove things off my credit , ALSO IF You’re looking to do ALL THE TALKING on your hearing date then this is for you …I didn’t like how I wasn’t really represented until the end , I thought the point of having a lawyer is for them to talk for you and then you back yourself up but no you LITERALLY DO ALLLLL THE TALKING until the very very end . But I must say Letty my attorney was GREAT! Absolutely great I give allllllllllllll the credit to her …. If I can give one person 5 stars I would but because I am not happy 1 star this company is getting from me …. I won my case $1,200 was the fee … I had a balance of $6,240 on my Edd account & when they took their fees out which is $1,200 my balance was $5,040 do the math what’s 6,240 minus 1,200 ? 5,040 ! Now they’re telling me they never received payment which is wild to me because where did the $1,200 go ? I certified after I seen the $1,200 out so I wouldn’t touch it til after now I’m owing …. I would not advise anyone to go to this company . RUN NOT WALK RUN…………. And perishing law firm I do not need you responding to my review I don’t care what you have to say I do not believe any of it you guys are trying to charge me twice and I don’t like that……

Well, let me be honest and tell you my experience with Persian Square law firm I contacted them this year. They charge me a certain amount to represent me. They said I wouldn’t have to pay if I lost my case apparently the judge sent the case back because they did not find me guilty so they sent it back to the EDD to have them look into a fraud And did he still charge my account $8500 Persian square has not returned my phone calls. I called them multiple times and their message says that due to the Covid pandemic they can’t return the phone calls on time Covid pandemic was 2020 and it’s 2025 already I am not seeing what everybody else is seeing when it comes down to these attorneys they definitely do not return the calls when they should two weeks. I haven’t had a return call and I left 16 messages.

They advocate for their clients and they get results. I'm grateful for their work. The only thing I would change is response time, but as someone who has worked with many lawyers in many capacities, that's not unusual.

I just want to say how grateful I am that this company helped me to prove my innocence and helped exonerate me of all blames from my last employer; especially with my attorney on my side Megan Lazar, she truly was an advocate for me in the hearing and stated everything perfectly in my honor and defense to the Judge and my former employer and I couldn’t be more grateful for her help with winning my case. If you truly feel that you were terminated from your job for reasons that doesn’t make any sense and they deny your unemployment financial benefits, I implore you to use this law firm to help you win your case because they will really defend you with everything they have to prove your innocence. I honestly feel like I can breathe now and a huge weight has just been lifted off my chest.

Please heed the warning of others. My hearing was an embarrassing mess of incompetence. For one, it was clear that attorney (Charlie) had not reviewed my case, as he was caught off guard when the judge stated that we were contesting not one, but two rulings. This should have been obvious with a simple glance at my file. Charlie’s closing statements were short & comical, given the huge blunder at beginning of case. In all, they ended up giving me poor advice that resulted in the case being lost. You’ll literally have two calls with this firm: one to take your money, and one 20 minute brief the day before the hearing. The second call isn’t even scheduled. Mine happened after hours at 7:45 pm after I waited all day for a call. Please look elsewhere, or represent yourself. I’m convinced that the the majority of their positive reviews are paid for.
