His diligence in my case got the DA to finally offer up a plea deal I was happy with. In the end my felony hit and run charge was reduced to a misdemeanor with small fine, 90 (45) days’ work release, and 3 years of summary probation. As a result, I was not only able to keep my security clearance, but also keep my job with a leading military defense contractor. In addition I have a very good possibility of getting the misdemeanor charge expunged from my record entirely after only 1 year of probation. Dan's confident and professional demeanor was very influential on me and it helped me to relax and maintain my poise as we appeared in court for multiple hearings. When Mr. Leib entered the courtroom I was impressed by his professional appearance. I also noticed his face, as I am a face person. He has an honest, hardworking, no nonsense look. I like this in an attorney. When I spoke to him, he was straightforward. His fees are reasonable. Criminal case, two false charges by LAPD. Yes false charges, at least the judge agreed. Case dropped.
