This is the worst lawyer ever. Don’t NOT hire this man. He will take your money and run. The worst experience ever. Syverson should not be allowed to practice law

Mr. Erik Syverson had helped me with a security breach negotiation I experienced in February with the biggest public cloud provider, his strong responsibility and professionalism helped me resolve the issue in a timely way and didn't incur any personal loss from my side. I achieved a satisfied agreement with the other party. I feel satisfied about this work and strong recommend him for your IP related law case.

excellent lawyer. he successfully obtained a judgement for me under difficult circumstances. i always e-mail him for advice etc. and he is very responsive.

I have been in business for 30+ years and this is the rudest person I've ever talked to. I was recommended by another lawyer to contact Syverson. Sent an online form and left 2 messages to request a consultation. Never heard back. Gave up but was recommended again so I kept calling. They do not care about potential customers. Finally reached him on the phone. I suffer from migraines so it's hard for me to be fast on the fly to questions. He's said "what do you want?" as if I called the wrong number. I said isn't this the law firm? He said rudely, don't know you who you call? So I got past that and asked for a defamation lawyer and a consultation. He said we could do it in 30 seconds which is impossible based on the complexity of my situation. He asked me what was said which I had to quickly pull up a spreadsheet of slander. I went through the list and he said OPINION OPINION UNACTIONABLE. He was so rude that I was just STUNNED and was struggling to give him more things that would explain my case. He then said hurry up I have to go. I mean does this guy want business or what? I ended up just saying thanks for nothing and hanging up. I was really excited about this lawyer and he was my #1 choice based on his great website, but this is the last person you should ever give your business. He's worse than the problem I'm trying to solve.

Contacted Erik re: defamatory content online about me. Informed me quickly I had a valid legal claim, but was curt and unprofessional, and humble bragged at every opportunity ("my usual clients are high value people who don't mind dropping $10.000..."). I'm inexperienced with the law and had some basic questions, but he was really clear he found that fastidious (statements like: "I don't know why you're calling me if..."). His emails were also very curt, included consistently bad grammar, etc.--generally an "I don't care" attitude. Not sure why he is still in practice if he hates his job. I'm a software engineer and there's a high standard of behavior expected in my industry. He didn't make the cut.

I found him online. He spent an hour telling me how great he was and how almost all attorneys are criminals and liars and not to be trusted. He said that he would send the retainer to me the next day. I never received it and when I reached out by email he responded with "I'll pass. "Was he trying to show me that attorneys are liars and can't be trusted ? Confusing and very strange and unprofessional experience.

Politely called regarding a case. Found his price too high, Eric laughed at me for being cheap and then simply hung up on me. Came highly recommended and was shocked this is how he treats people.

I called to inquire about intellectual property and he just hung up on me after 20 seconds. Never experienced anything like that in 20 years within entertainment.

I retained Erik to fix several copyright issues I had from a previous attorney. He corrected and managed everything to my complete satisfaction. He quickly determined what needed to be done, communicated the necessary steps and actions needed and managed everything in a time efficient manner. He is profession yet friendly and very easy to work with. I found his fees very fair and just . I highly recommend him.
