Deborah and Emily are exceptional. I was in Family court fighting for custodial rights for 5 years, and it took getting these two on my side to finally win. I had gone through 5 different lawyers before them. Despite all of them having 9+ AVVO ratings, Lawyer 1 didn't listen, Lawyer 2 didn't prepare until the weekend before and yelled at me for asking questions (and lost), got results but cost truly insane amounts (my entire inheritance in 9 months), Lawyer 3.5 (separate DCFS case) was ok, but still cost too much, Lawyer 4 listened well at first, but never again and ignored me during time sensitive junctures, and then finally Deborah was recommended to me by a lawyer that worked next to my office (not family law). NONE of my prior frustrations appeared again. I worked primarily with Emily, but I feel I got the perfect dose of Deborah's oversight. Important aspects were run by her, I had access to her, but my bills were not overly peppered with her time. Emily was a great listener, and even better, she was great at explaining her rationale so that I didn't have as many questions. She never hid from me, the documents she authored were good, and she drafted them quickly. She welcomed my input, and even used some of it. I never felt the need or justification for questioning their bills, and I appreciated the occasional unsolicited write-off of a call or effort here or there. I truly felt that they CARED, from start to finish, and I finally was able to conclude a chapter of my life I never want to revisit, and in the end I got all of my "must have" custodial rights. I highly recommend!!

Awesome team of lawyers and their associates. We were tended to right away when we first met with our attorney. From the attendant in valet parking to the exit out the door, we were treated with total respect and care for our physical needs. Very upscale office with an atmosphere where you feel like you can trust them with your case. Everyone is friendly. The receptionist upfront were all so sweet. I don’ do a lot of reviews. Because I’m busy. I am a nurse. I have a new born baby. And my husband requires a lot of attention. However I wanted to take time and let everyone know. That this is the best experience I have had. They will take care of everything. You can call tell on weekends and talk to partner. Everyone said my case is not worth much. They got me policy limits. Rosa is the best. Try and get her. If you ask for it. They will try and deliver. They go way beyond for you. I love love love BD&J
