Initially, I started handling my worker's compensation case myself. Although I have almost two decades of case management in my professional background, this case was too close and personal and quite frankly, too exhausting to handle on my own. After loads of legal paperwork, as well as, the frustration of not receiving the appropriate rehabilitative care, I gave up trying to handle the case myself. When I first met Susan I was so frustrated by the previous attorneys in the insurance end of the matter and I knew the field well, having worked as a legal secretary for numerous lawyers throughout my 30 years as a legal secretary, I saw through their games.
