I was told by our business broker that we needed to have an M&A attorney on our "transaction team". Short on time, I committed to David Burgess based on a brief telephone conversation. I could not at the time imagine how instrumental he would be to us in completing the successful sale of our small business (7 people/3m revenues). Over the course of the transaction period he time after time provided prompt responses to our various needs and requests--always taking our calls and replying quickly to our emails. He provided measured, sober, practical advice. He prepared numerous documents and provided advice/revisions on others. His friendly, calm manner were appreciated during a stressful time.
