Mr. Gaffney was a bit too expensive as compared to the other lawyers I interviewed.

Jeffrey is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Very much appreciated his quick responses. I will recommend him to everyone for legal help in legal matter - Excellence.

Jeff was superb! It was a busy holiday weekend and Jeff put in some solid hours on short notice to help with a full gamut of estate planning docs, i.e. living trust, will, power of attorney, healthcare directives, etc. Jeff has a great deal of depth and knowledge of tricky areas, but always kept things light to alleviate the stress I was feeling. He did an excellent job at explaining and answering questions. He processed everything quickly and we were able to expedite everything faster than planned. I've used attorneys for both business and family before, so I am used to paying the high fees to get things done right, and quickly. This time was different, Jeff was extremely reasonable with his final invoice. I can tell you that I had never paid more than invoiced for legal fees until I used Jeff. I actually paid extra!!! Call it a tip, if you want. He was well worth it and I highly recommend him.

We had an initial consultation with the Law Offices of David Chesley in October of 2021. I was always informed before, during, and after my case. Jeff was amazing to work with!! Estate and Will/Trust planning can be challenging and very emotional. Jeff's knowledge and humor was priceless. He kept things light and made it very easy and comfortable to speak about emotional topics ie. whom to leave the kids to if anything bad were to happen. Jeff did a great job explaining and answering questions. Also, working with Jeff virtually (due to Covid) was super easy. We spoke over the phone, emailed and Jeff mailed the docs for formal signatures. It was a super super easy process. Thank you Jeff for everything!! I can not recommend you enough!!

I found David through Google and gave him a call. I am so grateful for Mr. Chesley and his team of attorneys and legal staff. His skill and knowledge exceeded my expectations, and the outcome was better than anything I had hoped for. I did have a felony criminal case and now I do not!!! Even after the DUI case he still made himself available to answer whatever questions I had. I know from experience, that this is sort of generosity is uncommon for other San Diego criminal defense attorneys. I wasn’t shocked about what took place in Vista Court because everything he told me I was prepared for. Surprisingly, I did not even have to pay that much for his legal service when compared to the prices of other Carlsbad criminal defense attorneys I had spoken to. Will definitely recommend The Chesley Law Firm him to others seeking support and legal aid. No one else could compare!
