Erik Jenkins and April Hu did an excellent job of representing me in my child custody case. They were aggressive in their litigation with the petitioner and her counsel and made decisions that were in the best interests of my family and my child resulting in a 50/50 custody schedule. Previous judges and our mediator had made my path to extend visitation with my child very difficult and the representation I had had in the past was not the caliber that was necessary to see through the deceit of the petitioner and her attorney. Erik and April were able to navigate through the conflict and the result was increased time with my child. Everyone I interacted with in Erik’s office responded promptly to my questions and my concerns. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a trustworthy practice that is highly knowledgeable of the law and will be committed to your needs.

We were facing a giant complaint and the Jenkins team helped us with a powerful and cost friendly defense plan that ended the lawsuit with a dismissal VERY early in the process! These things can be very stressful and damaging and Erik had the patience to keep us calm and confident! The entire Jenkins team was focused and professional and sharp and even occasionally light hearted when the moment was appropriate. This balanced constitution was both effective and comforting!

Working with Erik on my divorce was the best decision I made during the process. He is extremely trustworthy, dependable and cared about my family. Erik guided me through when to give and when to continue forward, what was worth spending the time and money on. I had an extremely long divorce (3 years). Erik Jenkins represented me in a TRO against a public official in Carlsbad, CA. This council member tried to say I was surveiling and stalking her when I NEVER KNEW where she lived. It turned out that the council member was trying to shut me up because she didn't like someone voicing opposing positions to hers - which I do because that's my 1st amendment right. Not only did the TRO get dissolved but we put an end to her trying to chill free speech. The first amendment matters and Erik Jenkins can help you too!

I wholeheartedly recommend Erik Jenkins as an attorney. Erik took the time to listen, with his full attention to my issues that I am having with my divorce. After I was done explaining, he asked me some in depth questions, and that reassured me that he had really listened to what I had said. Erik was the third lawyer I have hired since my separation in late 2013. Working with Erik gave me a clear demonstration of how this process should have been going the whole time. He took the time to listen to and evaluate my concerns, gave me options regarding what my legal actions could be, and delivered exactly what he promised. With the same judge hearing the motion and my ex-spouse using the same tactics that had worked favorably for them in previous hearings, Erik and his team delivered a MUCH different result and for the first time since this process started I left the hearing without a feeling that my attorney could have done more for me. I should mention that Erik demonstrates a "business like ruthlessness" in court that the judge seemed to respect and I certainly appreciated. Attorney Erik Jenkins is a pillar of strength, steadfast countenance & wisdom AND this makes him very intimidating... Hearing him talk has literally made the hair on the back of my neck stand up... He is very intelligent, an excellent listener and purposeful; in addition, both he and his staff work efficiently and effectively. In the past, when an attorney wasn't available I was literally left stranded. Not the case with Erik! If he isn't able to meet, he has several options: phone conference, speak with another attorney on his team or speak with his paralegal. You are never left abandoned.
