Agreed with the last one star rating. Started off talking about politics when nobody brought it up. Very bossy and Gruff. Not a smile or laugh. Made comments about my attire as to be judging me and putting me down. I'm disabled and it took every ounce of energy to get to his office. Sorry if I didn't have a suit and tie on. He could of told me over the phone he didn't want my case but seemed to want to see me in person to tell me no. Just a very cold feeling from him. Not someone you want when you are truly hurt by others. Grumpy. Time to retire buddy. You can't take your $ with you.

Mark is a tough but very caring lawyer. He helped me with a difficult issue. I was very pleased with my result. Mark is fun and connected to the culture and the pulse of the current climate. A fun but serious attorney. He will do his best with your case!

I found Mark quite inappropriate business wise, met him to go over possibly taking my case, he seemed quite scattered, but I figured he was out of his office setting so tried to continue with my issue. It was different, but ok until he walked me out, started talking politics & abortion, and quite strongly, told me if I voted for Trump, he would pray for me. I didn't say a thing about voting for Trump or politics or abortion! WEIRD for an attorney to go there when it had nothing to do with my potential case, it made me quite uncomfortable, like if I didn't agree with him, he wouldn't take me on. Continued to tell me he was a single father and his wife cheated on him twice. Ok?!?!? I'm in a very scary and tenuous situation in my home, due to conditions out of my control, as well as health issues. He tied me up for 2 weeks (I spent putting info together as he asked) then when I asked a simple "yes or no" question he said we weren't a match, no explanation or even a phone call (via text). I am old school and find that a bit cowardly, not to mention unprofessional! Back to square 1! Thanks for wasting my time! Probably for the best, I should have done my homework first, need a high-powered elder abuse firm, blessed I found them shortly after his "not a match text". I waited a day and a half, plus 2 texts from me for that! He may very well be a good litigator, I don't know, but as far as the humanity side with a new client and appropriate conversation, no thanks! I feel confident the 5 stars were slam dunk cases with lots of bucks. That is why they are called ambulance chasers, this was not my case, is it an elder abuse resulting in PI. I also asked him if he would write a letter if I paid him his hourly fee if he didn't take the case and he said he never charges for a letter but didn't even address that in his text. I'm all about integrity and keeping your word. Maybe time to retire Mark!

I was referred to Mr. Caruana after my attorney passed away unexpectedly in 2015. He took over my case and explained how things would happen in detail regarding a car accident leading up to a surgey. I hired him again in 2016 when I was involved in yet another car accident. He was extremely professional before the surgery I ended up having and checked on me during the whole process afterward. No-nonsense, straightforward kind of attorney that you DEFINITELY want on your side!

I was referred to Mark after I was in a serious auto accident. He is respectful, trustworthy, and goes above and beyond to help throughout the entire process. I am so thankful that I found him! I would refer friends and families members to him if his services are ever needed.

Mark helped my husband and I after we were injured in an auto accident. The at fault party's insurance company was reluctant to return us to whole because we didn't take time off from work or seek continued medical care. We were injured but don't have the luxury of taking time off from our jobs. Mark walked us through the entire process and really went to bat for us with the insurance company. Personal injury cases can be complicated for those of us that have little legal experience and Mark was able to simplify the process for us and definitely had our best interests in mind. If you need a Personal Injury attorney keep in mind that this can be a slow process, however with an attorney like Mark it is a relief to leave the all the details in his hands. I would easily refer friends and family to Mark!

I came to Mark with a problem several months ago, he was very helpful in dealing with my dilemma. He responded to me in a timely manner and my case was resolved in an efficient and judicious fashion. Mr Caruana was very respectful and understanding when it came to my personal and emotional feelings after witnessing the traumatic car accident I was involved with. One man lost his life and the other is permanently disabled. Fortunately, I survived with bumps, bruises, stitches, a scarred memory and the guilt of having lived. Mr. Caruana was always available on the phone and in person for me at any time. He kept me up to date with my case and stood his ground in front of other lawyers and legal personnel when it came to what he believed was right! I would recommend him to anyone who needs a honest, professional lawyer who stands by his clients' intentions.

I hired Mark when I was hit by a driver who ran a red light fleeing from a crime he just committed. Thankfully I had good medical insurance because it turned out the other driver was uninsured. I consulted several lawyers since I had half a million in medical bills, a totaled car, and both my health insurance and car insurance calling me daily. I was advised by a friend not to speak to anyone regarding my accident until I had representation. I consulted with the billboard types all the way to the mom and pop and I could not have picked a better attorney than Mark! He was an absolute hardcore advocate for me and my family. He got everyone off my back, got me several thousand dollars more for my totaled car than the initial settlement offer, got me the maximum payout on my uninsured driver policy and got my health insurance to agree not to go after my settlement to seek reimbursement for my medical bills. He offered to sue the person who hit me in civil court but the guy had a mile long arrest record and wasn’t worth my time or Mark’s effort. Over a year later my health insurance sent me a letter saying they were going to seek payment for what Mark had already settled. Panicked, I called Mark and it took one phone call from him while I was in his office to get the matter closed. I overheard his conversation with the representative and I was speechless that he would fight so hard and genuinely cared that I was never contacted about the matter again. He didn’t have to make that call, my case was settled, he was paid but he met with me and handled my problem. The payment? He asked me to get his paralegal a Starbucks sometime… If I ever need an attorney in the future I will see Mark first!

I agree with the clients who rated him with one star. Poor ethics and certainly a lack of professionalism. Taking my calls were a burden to him as evidenced by his tone of voice and the the way he belittled my questions during sporadic calls. Would tell me what to do (almost in a demanding manner), but was not interested in explaining his reasons. After several months, I discovered he was not even working on my case, thus he never had any new information for me. He seemed to not care. In the end I received the same treatment from him, he suddenly became aggravated and hung-up the phone on me.

Mark Caruana is a selfless human being who puts people at ease through the entire legal process. Mark kept me informed at every turn and maintained communications with me throughout. His staff is also very professional and personable. Thanks to Mark I was able to move on to the next great chapter of my life. By the way, he does military discounts which helped out a lot. Thanks Mark, from a broken but vertical Marine!

I was badly hurt in a motorcycle accident. Hospitalized for 3 weeks and out of work for 4 months. Mark took care of everything so that me and my wife would not have to worry. He advised me of all my options and listened to my concerns. In the end I was very happy with the time and attention Mark gave me and my case. I would definitely go to Mark Caruana again and recommend him to all my friends and family.
