I hired Thomas Fischer to represent me in a child custody case in San Diego. He and his paralegal Andrea worked on my case tirelessly for two years. They were amazing! We won the case and I received full custody of my oldest son. Even with all of the stresses of the legal process, Thomas helped me to understand everything that was happening and I am eternally grateful. He was also able to work with me on billing and that alone helped to relieve some of the pressure inherent in the Attorney/client relationship. If you need an intelligent, effective, and tenacious attorney, you will be extremely happy with Thomas Fisher.

Michael Fischer is a weak and passionless attorney. He was hired to help me in a custody battle with my bully ex husband. He failed to properly study my case for our only court date, which resulted in a judgment based on bad facts and wrong numbers. He was weak in court and did not stand up for me at all. When I tried to do the talking for myself to the judge, he shushed me! I am in a worse monthly financial situation then I was when I hired him to represent me and go to court. My ex has been emboldened to bully me further because he knows my attorney was weak and I paid out over $5,000 to this man! He is dishonest about the charges he tried to bill me for, charging $138 for a phone call with me that never took place! Weak and not to be trusted! I have already steered 3 women away from working with him because I don't want to see them get screwed over by Fischer or their ex's.

I needed help for my child support case, Like a stream of light, they arrived just in time. Very professional, very knowledgeable, as straightforward as you can get. The settlement didn’t take too long. Mr. Fischer and Van Thiel really helped me through my situation, the phone call updates and email really eased my mind and relieved my stress. So don’t worry, if you need help give them a call.

The best family law firm!! I wish I had found Mike Fischer at the beginning of my divorce. I went through two other attorneys who weren't very helpful or successful in helping me through my divorce. Mike and his team worked hard for me and my child. He and Shari (paralegal) are both understanding and helped me through some really tough situations. I highly recommend this firm!

I strongly recommend Mike Fischer for your family law attorney needs. From day one he laid out a plan on how we were going to approach my situation. He's personable and knowledgeable. If you want a lawyer who is going to fight in the trenches for you then he's the guy you want.

I had used Elizabeth for my divorce case and everything seemed to have gone well. When my husband and I decided it would be best for my two older daughters to be adopted by my husband I called this firm again and hired Elizabeth. Throughout the whole process it was a hardship. Elizabeth had quoted that this would be $3,000 or $5,000 if my daughters biological father contested. When we went to trial she was so unprepared and came to trial dressed so unprofessional. We could hardly ever get a hold of her she hardly put any effort into our case and did horrible in trial. Even other attorneys noticed. She doesn’t seem to really have much knowledge in this area so I am very surprised at a review I read here that had mentioned she did. We ended up paying a total of 12,000 dollars for the whole thing. Attorneys that have more knowledge and are so much better had mentioned how they were even sick to their stomach when they heard of this. I would always get my bills on time or emails when I wouldn’t pay them so I could actually reach her. She completely took advantage of my family and I for the little effort she made on our case and how she performed. What she charged us was honestly a rip off and the firm truly does not seem to have their clients best interest. The only reason we even won the trial was truly thanks to my daughters public attorney who showed a genuine interest in helping my girls. Her closing argument was amazing and she did so well in court. The way Elizabeth was so unprepared, unorganized and unprofessional was honestly embarrassing. I am only writing this review because I really hope to help someone avoid what my family and I went through. We invested everything on this case for our daughters and all this firm truly seemed to care about is what and how much possible they can take from you. They never tried to justify there wrong in taking only what they deserved and I am honestly disappointed with how the whole process was handled. I hope you all find this helpful and please consider carefully and do your research elsewhere before trying to hire this attorney for a case. I can’t speak for the other attorney in this firm but to allow someone like this and to not take the correct actions and handle it properly. Makes you just as wrong.
