one star is too many. go somewhere else. he would not return my phone calls timely, when he did he was in his car driving. comes on as competent at the start then blows you off with his paralegals. spend your money elsewhere.

I contacted The Rooney Law Firm for a sensitive family law issue and the firm handled my case professionally. The staff was friendly and responsive - always returned my calls and emails. I am very pleased with the outcome they were able to get for me.

Lazy law firm. Contacted them multiple times and was handed off to a pera legal who was of no use. They kept stringing me along saying that they would be happy to help me. But no one ever got back to me. Now with the insurance company (FARMERS) yanking my chain saying that they needed more doctors notes saying that they can't make a serious offer until they had all the paperwork. What they were doing was trying to run the clock out. Don't trust the Rooney Law Firm. It's not worth their time ubless you can make them big money. What a worthless law firm. Not worth the paper their name is printed on. Horrible!

He was completely disrespectful and did not answer any of my questions without some sort of degrating remark or action. He literally pulled down a crystal ball off of his shelf and told me to look into it for answers. SO rude. He acted childish and had no regards towards my feelings. A complete waste of my money for the consultation.

I would recommend this law firm to anyone having any legal trouble or who needs something done through the legal system. While attending college in Chico, I got into some legal trouble, but Mr. Rooney and the firm were able to keep the consequences to a minimum. No jail time and only a small fine with probation. I then contacted the Rooney Law Firm again in order to get the charge expunged off my record. Now I have a clear record and am looking forward to gaining employment at a respectable company and putting all this behind me. Also, anyone reading any of the negative reviews below should not pay attention to them. Some people seem to expect that a lawyer can perform miracles and get the exact results the client wants every single time.

My experience with Rooney Law Firm was very professional. I had to get a Medical Marijuana probation modification and Michael Rooney and his staff knew exactly what to do and how to achieve my goals. They were familiar with Health and Safety codes that other lawyers were not. He was very direct and honest about what he could and couldn't do for me. He did not tell me what I wanted to hear, he told me how it was going to be. I would use his firm again if needed and will recommend his firm to anyone who needs legal representation.

He refused to take my case pro bono and said, "Oh, so you don't have any money". He agreed to be my friend's attorney and lost his FL case. He didn't know the case, he was not prepared. He then turned it over to his new attorney who also did not do well against the seasoned, bullying, opposing attorney, Mr. Hait. I would not recommend nor use his firm.

We absolutely recommend Mr Rooney's Law firm. Very kind, prompt, and straight forward. His office argued our case and the Rooney team triumphed on our behalf. We are so grateful for their diligence during this sensitive time.

Worst ever. Completely a waste of time. Would not ever return a call. Did absolutely nothing to help my case. Missed court dates, stalled everything they were the bottle neck in the whole experience. Took them 3 weeks just to make a call. Then to top it all off they dropped out of my case in the middle of child custody, and when I called them to find out why suprise suprise they never called back. They didn't seem to know what was going on with my case at all at any stage. Then to top it all off I found out at the end of the ordeal the opposing counsel was getting information out of the office to better his case against me in real time the whole time. Truth be told they worked against me far more than they worked for me. PLEASE look elsewhere you don't want this kind of attorney.

Treats people as kid stalls time so you pay more. We got a another lawyer. And we won against Rooney team!
