My intake person Yvonne was very kind and caring in hearing my sadness and how the firm could potentially help. She answered some basic questions that I really needed knowledge on and was extremely professional.

Be careful with these sharks. Have your guard up in the end they’re here to make money and that’s their number one priority. Long story short, I went in with my case. Other party was using non existent arrears to have me bend at their will. I went to them for help and they strung me along making me think I had a chance. First court date comes up and judge calls off. Over $1500 for that day and all I got was a continuance. They charge me for 3 missed phone calls that totaled up to just under $300 My attorney called me the the wrong name twice. Other party reaches out for an agreement proposal and instead of attempting to resolve they state “attorney is ready to go” and we proceed to court. $2800 later and all they did was ask for continuance. $16,000 later and they tell me to just agree to the terms other party has presented me. The exact same position I was in before I hired Reel father rights. Thousands in the hole and no custody of my child. Beware of them.

I had attorney Grant McArthur And I have to say him, and his team were the best. I wind up getting what I wanted, which is full custody over both of my children. They’re a little on the expensive side, but it’s worth every penny when you know your children are safe. The one piece of advice I can give everyone is just listen to what your attorney and the team says they know exactly what they’re talking about. They are phenomenal mind you they might get a little busy, but if the question you have is very urgent, they will get back to you ASAP no matter how busy they are. I cannot recommend Reel Fathers Rights enough. Thank you guys so much for everything you’ve done for me!

Communication is horrendous. They couldn't make it more obvious that they just want your money, they don't care about you. They improperly served paperwork by sending it to the wrong address and when I brought it to their attention the response was "according to our system she has been served, and that's all that matters." Which is untrue and would've came back to bite me if I stayed with them. They also refused to communicate through emails even though we discussed it 3 times. And they will also charge you for the phone calls, voicemail, and emails. So if you miss a call, they send a follow up email, and charge you 3 times for missing a call. I told them I could only talk certain times and they continued to call me knowing I couldn't answer, and charged me everytime. I ended up paying over $13k and we never even saw a judge or had one in person meeting. This is a horribly greedy company and they do NOT care about you. Hire any other law group.

I was represented by Reel Father's in March 2024. The case ended with me being awarded 50/50 custody of my son. A few months went by after the hearing and up until around May, I had still not received the order from the court where I was granted 50/50 custody. I personally contacted the law firm where I was told that they were "finalizing everything" but they continued asking me to replenish money in my trust for the lawyers to close my case. Because of this I continued funding my trust. However, about a month later (June 2024) I am informed that the FOAH was denied and that they have to resubmit the document to the court. But the whole time they were telling me that my case is done and am being told one thing while a completely different thing is actually going on. Naturally, I was upset by the lack of communication from the law firm. I tried firing the firm but I was told by Senior Paralegal Devin Collin the following on 07/09/24: "Our office is obligated to remain on your case until the filing of the Findings and Order After Hearing as we were ordered to complete it by the Court." I was always under the impression that I can let go of my representation whenever I wanted, but receiving this message made me feel like I had no choice but to remain with them. From about July until October, the attorney's were trying to have the opposing party sign the new FOAH. In September they informed me that they would have to submit the FOAH without the opposing counsel's signature due to their (opposing counsel's) lack of response. But that they would have to submit proof of their efforts to reach out to the opposing counsel to the court along with their submission. Obviously that work would have to be billed for. Therefore, I requested Reel Father's to cease all work on the case. I wanted find out what's going on. I had even asked my son's mother if she can reach out to her attorney (since our co-parenting relationship returned to being amicable after the hearing), to which she did. However, Reel Father's did not honor or care to listen to my request and continued to do the work and bill me for it. I communicated my request to cease work to Billing Department Specialist, Tanya Gonzalez and when I asked why my request was not honored, Attorney, Rafael Serrano III shared that the request was never communicated to my legal team. When I stated who I made the request to (Ms. Tanya Gonzalez) he (Rafael) stated, "Well she is not part of you legal team." A completely unprofessional response. As a member of the company it does not matter whom I communicated my request to. It's not like I communicated my request to a maintenance worker. That right there is a lack of internal communication that again, I am paying the price for. Attorney Serrano shared these charges would be credited, and they have not been. Additionally, I TRIED to fire the law firm and Senior Paralegal shared that the billing department would "work with me." However, I did not want to be represented by Reel Father's and felt forced to do so. I communicated with billing on 10/14 who shared my final bill was around $600. They shared they would try to advocate on my behalf to credit some of the final costs. Today, I was told that my final bill is around $900. Also, even after the opposing party received the FOAH the second time, Reel Father's still did not completely correctly fill out the FOAH as they missed checking off "Respondent" on the first page of the FOAH. While this mistake is minor, the back and forth communication between Reel Father's and the opposing party is billable. It seems like as a client I have had to pay the costs for Reel Father's mistakes. Lastly, the order's do not even completely reflect what the court stated. The holiday schedule which court granted alternating holidays on, is not even in my order, which is something I stressed to my attorney and was granted by the court! BUT IT WAS LEFT OUT! This law firm is disorganized, they lack communication, and they are not client-centered.

I truly am starting to wonder if I got scammed they gave me their word. I would be out of there in approximately three weeks to a month. I am going on the third month. No one has gotten back to me. I paid my retainer and I’m sitting in limbo, I definitely recommend, you look somewhere else also they told me the lawyer would be $300 an hour and they charge $600 an hour and said oh we end up using a better lawyer and the second day I signed up they called to say we need more of a retainer when they promised they would do it for that price This place truly has scam all over it

I haven't use reel father's right yet but I'm impressed by Richard and their focus on helping fathers in family law cases if I ever need legally support I'll consider them for my future case

Instead of assistance my requests and pleas are often ignored. Instead of relief I’ve experienced frustration. Instead of sharing some of my burden, in this case I am bearing an even larger load. Instead of being the beneficiary of RFR’s knowledge and experience I often feel like I have gained more insight and knowledge from Google thus far. A legal team should have your back. I don’t feel this has been the case with much of my experience with RFR. I’m lied to and often ignored. I’m treated like my troubles are just something that cannot be curtailed in the least. My emails go unanswered. My calls forwarded. My visits to the office usually seem like they didn’t even happen by the next day. At this point instead of fighting one crazed woman I’m also battling a law firm. “My team” has spent more time defending their incompetence rather than defending me.
