My wife and I adopted an infant at birth. Bonnie was involved prior to the birth. Bonnie ensured that our experience was about the baby coming home and not the paperwork. We had one small hiccup a few hours after the baby was born with the hospital and Bonnie was all over it. When you're worried at every step that this whole thing is going to fall apart and your daughter will be taken away, we had nothing more to do than to trust Bonnie. Everything was handled by email/mail and it was simple. She ensured that everything that needed to be done legally was handled at the earliest time. We were just over a year from birth to final court hearing....but only because DCFS was dragging their feet, otherwise it would have been a couple of months sooner. I felt sorry a bit for some others I know who didn't have the same easy experience we did.....the difference was having Bonnie involved. All in all, if you need an expert in the area of adoptions, Bonnie is the lawyer you should trust.

Bonnie was reccommened to us by the adoption agency that did our home study. Our case was fairly straightfoward, but Bonnie handled it professionally, and quickly. She was very responsive to all communications, and was very detailed in the billing so we knew exactly what we were being charged for. In once instance during our case, the government bureaucrats were dragging their feet on process, and Bonnie successfully got them to speed things up. We were happy with the services she provided.
