Steve is a very detailed person is type of person that I like. In a very difficult time with the virus going around. We did most of our communication via Zoom so there was no personal contact but the meeting was very professional & to the point. In the future if we or our desendance need help, he is our lawyer.

Steve Rudd did a Great Job in helping us update our Revocable Living Trust. Our trust was first written in 1996, updated in 2006 and then Steve helped us update it in 2020. Our financial situation had improved but also became more complicated. Our wishes had also became more complicated. Steve helped us develop a very tailored-made Trust that fit our current wishes perfectly. It required a lot of patience and persistence by all three of us but we wound up with a Trust that we are very happy with, thanks to Steve. We highly recommend Steve Rudd!

I went to Steve to close out probate several years after the passing of my wife. In addition to my tardiness in dealing with the probate, the estate plan included foreign real estate which further added a level of complexity. The estate plan to cover this was drawn up by another attorney, but I switched to Steve after the original attorney's approach appeared to point out all the complexities and set an upfront charge that was excessive. Steve on the other hand made a point of clearly explaining the process, his approach and hows he bills for his services. Now that the probate is complete, as a testament to my trust in Steve, I am working with him to update my estate plan. I would highly recommend Steve and greatly appreciated his direct and timely approach in our dealings

Steve was the perfect attorney for our family needs. My wife and I had a 30 year old trust and will and it was time to update it for our current, more complicated, status. Steve was referred thru a friend. I met with Steve once, explained our situation, and in one efficient visit he understood what was needed, explained the current estate laws and strategies, and provided a very reasonable quote to do the work. Within one month he drafted the first pass at our new trust and wills. We had a few custom changes and then met with Steve and Christine for a final review and signing. The whole process was about 2 months, including the holidays, and the end result was a very well drafted (and tax smart) trust and will that we (and our children) can rely on for years to come. My wife and I have used Stephen Rudd for over 40 years. He's prepared our LW&T's and set up a modest family trust. His office isn't fancy, but he is approachable and does a wonderful job of explaining everything so that it was easy to understand, as was the language of the documents he composed. Christine, his assistant, was very professional and also made sure we understood the documents before signing. The documents he prepares do not require him to participate in future outcomes, unlike others. With respect to fees and charges, he is very fair and reasonable, with no surprises.

Stephen Rudd is an expert at probate. He is extremely knowledgeable and could talk forever about trusts/probate, etc. Because I had a well written trust and he knew the probate system well, he was able to get me the court documents quickly and easily. He offered sounds advice to save me extra costs in the long run. Stephen and his assistant, Christine are very professional and have been in this business a very long time. They are friendly and easy to work with. We negotiated the costs up front and they were very fair and reasonable (highly recommended). Stephen's quote was the best of any other lawyer. My only recommendation (with any lawyer) is to watch the clock, every time you chat with a lawyer it costs you $$. Every time you email a lawyer, it costs you $$. Make sure you know what you are paying for. Also you are the boss. Don't allow any lawyer to charge you for things or "go beyond" that you never asked for.

I've been Mr. Rudd's client for over 14years. He prepared my initial trust and wills. These were very complex due to a divorce and other life factors. He addressed them all very well with up to date knowledge of the law. As years have passed he has kept the documents updated to reflect both my current situation and changes in the law and evolving circumstances from the original version.
