I tried to create my very straight forward Estate Plan but Dorothy was very unorganized and had difficulties with scheduling. She rescheduled over my appointment twice. I provided all of my personal information, then she told me "I am training a new Legal Assistant and we are working through new procedures since all appointments and court appearances must now be via zoom and by phone. It’s probably in your best interest to work with a different panel attorney….". None of this explains poor scheduling. I called another attorney's office and they were able to schedule and complete my simple Trust, Will and Power of Attorney the next day in an hour session!

Dorothy Peters put together our estate documents. From the first meeting, to the delivery of the documents, she demonstrated expertise, professionalism, attention to detail, and responsiveness. She took the time to listen to our concerns and questions, and provided expert responses that addressed each and every one of them. She is personable, and explains legal matters in an easy to understand manner. She even provided a separate document explaining the trust in a simple and condensed form that helps the reader understand the content of the trust without reading the entirety of the trust. I highly recommend Dorothy to anyone looking for a great estate planning attorney.

I would highly recommend Mr. Sokat. I called him for an initial consultation regarding personal injury caused by an auto accident. He spent the time go over my case, and provided me with very good advice at no charge. Even though it was clear that he would not be able to take on my case due to time constraints (and therefore had zero incentive to give me further advice), he was kind enough to explain my options and guided me through next steps.

My wife and I worked with Dorothy Peters on our estate documents, and I also worked with her to manage a trust for which I am trustee. Both projects presented significant challenges that were beyond the standard scope. She eagerly approached these issues with creativity, diligence, and candor. I’m so grateful I found Mr. Sokat, he helped me quite a few years ago, after I was in an accident. The insurance company was toying with me and I felt I was getting the short end of the stick.
