After years, my mom decided to begin the process to obtain her green card. Upon consulting with Jerry Shapiro, he informed us of everything we would need to bring to continue with the process and assured us he could handle our case. My mom really liked how he layed out the information for us and we decided to continue with my mom's adjustment of status case. It was a smooth and stress-free process. Let me share my story on how Atty. Jerry Shapiro handled my case. I hired him to handle my immigration filing/adjustment of status on December 12 2021. He immediately prepared the paperwork and told me to have my medical exam and give him the result ASAP which i complied. On December 21, 2021, he mailed the paperworks to the USCIS and was received on the 24th. On February 7, 2022 i received my biometric appointment and my work authorization card came the following week. Then my SSN card and the appointment letter of our interview came after couple of days. Our interview was March 15, 2022. Atty. Jerry came with us on our interview and it went smooth. He helped us a lot with this process. First it was so fast that it only took us more than 11 weeks from filling up to our interview. I’m more than delighted with his service and how he handled everything. I hired attorney Shapiro for my parents of the permanent resident (green card) application. The first an expression that he is very attempts to help by writing down the case strategy during the consultation until I please him to represent our case; he did not talk about the payment. Second, he's very professional, knowledgeable in immigration that successfully take care the a challenging case of the petitioner used to be a CCP (China Cumminest Party) member. The whole process from forms submitted to received Green card was taken less than eight months. By following his guidance, we successfully passed each steps and won the end. Whenever reviews all history, every step were dangerous to the muddy. Without attorney Shapiro (yes, I was tried to DIY by myself ) we will talk about another story today and going have a long way to walk. Choose a right attorney, secure the case, makes life easier. I'm lucky that I did right.

This review is long overdue! I want to start by thanking Mr Shapiro for giving me the life I have always looked for! Been in the states since I was a baby but after my mother passed when I was 14 I struggled with my immigration status and spend thousands of dollars with other attorneys! My first meeting he was able to find a solution and worked on my case! I finally had a permit to work then came my residency and tomorrow I am going to my oath ceremony to become a US CUTIZEN!!! Working with Jerry was a great experience. He was professional throughout the entire process. My wife had come from Brazil and we were looking for a lawyer to help us through the immigration process. We had a longer than expected process due to Covid, but Jerry was able to keep us updated and informed throughout the process. One of his best qualities was his response time to questions. If I were to email him with a question, he would have a response for me within hours and sometimes minutes. I could not appreciate that more when the process had been stalled due to Covid. He was also very organized and gave us a list of documents to have for filing our paperwork with USCIS, as well as a checklist of documents to bring with us to our interview with the USCIS agent. These lists, which were probably made from years of experience, were important because they went above and beyond the list on USCIS letter. This made things simple for us instead of trying to decipher the ambiguous guidelines that USCIS had laid out. Jerry was also kind enough to lay out the services he provided with his fee and accompanied us to the USCIS interview. Due to the help Jerry provided, we were able to obtain a green card for my wife with very little stress and question marks, even during a pandemic. I could not recommend Jerry more and truly thank him for all the work his did.
