I am an internationally recognized music producer and arranger. I also compose music. I am better known by my penname Murzo. Many of the musical works produced and arranged by me received national and international awards. Throughout my long and productive career, I managed to produce and arrange more than seventy-five hits songs for several internationally recognized recording artists. In addition, I also composed, scored and arranged music for award winning films and television programs, most notably From Ararat to Zion, an internationally acclaimed documentary film narrated by Aidan Quinn. In the 54-year history of Eurovision Song Contest, I am the only music producer and arranger who produced and arranged the selected songs for a participating country for five consecutive years. Because of my reputation, I have been called upon to serve as a judge on a number of jury panels at national music awards, national music contests, and nationally broadcast and top-rated music television shows. As fate has willed, for creative reasons, my family and I came to the USA in 2011. From the very first months many opportunities came across me, which led me to believe there was a great demand for my creative work. This circumstance contributed to making a decision to obtain legal advice from an immigration attorney to secure residency status in America. This extremely knowledgeable lawyer knows what it takes to win a case and applies that knowledge to get positive results. Prior to hiring Mr. Gukasyan to represent me in my immigration case, I had another lawyer who prepared and filed my I-140 petition in the “extraordinary ability alien” category. However, despite the submission of every document I was told by my previous lawyer to get in order to show my career achievements, the immigration service came back with a request to submit additional evidence because the petition was “deficient” to classify me as an alien of extraordinary ability. I then sought Mr. Gukasyan’s help to review my case and advise me what additional documents I could submit to show my standing as an extraordinary ability athlete. Mr. Gukasyan reviewed my documents and the immigration service’s request to submit additional evidence and told me that while the submitted documents did show my achievements as a gymnast, the evidence of extraordinary ability needed to be presented to the immigration service in the best possible light to meet the immigration service’s required standard. He also explained to me that showing extraordinary ability was more than a plain document production process, and that it was equally important how the evidence was presented to the immigration service to meet the standard. He proved to be absolutely right because my petition was approved in two weeks after he prepared and submitted a response with essentially the same documents my previous attorney had submitted before. The end result confirmed my belief that preparation and presentation can be the difference between winning and losing a case. Throughout the entire process, Mr. Gukasyan demonstrated the kind of understanding, dedication, and responsiveness one would expect from a lawyer who puts his client’s interest above everything else.
