I've used Mr. Knutsen twice both times with excellent results. First was a significant personal civil case. He was Spot on in everything. When i went to the police on a subject the officer saw his name and told me i had an 'Great Lawyer". I was pleased as i could be in what was not a pleasant experience, Later i had Mr. Knutsen represent me on a Bogus insurance claim. In one letter it went away permanently. Minimum with no fuss.

An amazing lawyer who is super professional. He is genuinely such a good guy. He spends hours on free projects. He really cares.

After some disturbing news from my doctor I needed to get a will, durable power of attorney, and Advance Care Directive in place quickly. I called 7 or 8 legal firms locally to ask if they could help me with this quickly after explaining the situation. They were polite (mostly) but not interested or able due to work load. The best I got was a promise of a call back soon. I tried one more number, Law Offices of Mark Cohen and explained the situation to the polite receptionist Dona and she connected me to C. Lee Hewitt an attorney at law there and he said he had to be in court that afternoon but if I could come down he would help me work this through before he had to leave for the day. He was understanding, professional, knowable, kind, and genuinely concerned for me and my situation. We discussed and reviewed what was needed and he then made arrangements for he and staff to work through their lunches to draw up the documents, arrange for the notary and 3 witnesses and within 2 hours I was walking out with exactly the 3 documents I needed. I cannot recommend Lee enough.

I have used this lawyer for my work visas. My application went well and got approved within 3 months. I have talked to a few other lawyers about my case and no one would take me seriously. Mr. David was very patient with me and fully explained the entire process to me and always gave a straight answer. I am very happy with his service and his people. I highly recommend his service.

David Sheen is a wonderful attorney whose helped me through a difficult immigration process. I paid him a upfront retainer fee and was serviced through an electronic system he uses. He always provided timely updates on my case. The immigration process takes a long time and its the fault of the government not the attorney. I was patient and eventually got my interview in less than 9months

Mr. Sheen had me to pay him $4500 retainer fee up front, he deposited my check right away and never started working on my case. I’ve been emailing and calling him to request updates on my case and he rarely responded. After I’ve been failure to get my case updates for over 6months. Mr Sheen stopped all contact with me when I requested to return my retainer fee back. I eventually got hold of him with the help from the California State Bar. I was told that he lost all my original documents which I submitted to him before.

I have known David for many years. He had given me good immigration advice on many occasions, very knowledgeable and responsive. He is the best in the business.

David provided me with good legal advice and counsel regarding starting a new business. I'm very thankful otherwise I could be in a bad situation years down the road.

David seems to know what he is doing:however< when he comes across something new, he keeps me waiting with no results after 16 months. My green card was sent back for a name correction last Aprl 2010 (16 months ago) it never returned. He told me he refiled but USCIS has nothing. He told me the wait period was 30 days and its been 50. USCIS wants $149.00 to correct their error. I have paid David over $2000.00 and I believe I should get better results from him. If you can get him to work with you I think he is the right person for you. I think he is avoiding me unwilling to help without more money. Maybe I am on my own, Not fair to my husband and I.

I worked with David on my first H1B filing and a subsequent shift to another company. David was very efficient and responsive. He made the case/petition preparation very easy for us. As a start-up company, we didn't have much experience in the documents and processes involved in H1B cases. But David worked with us and was always available to answer questions. He is definitely very informed about immigration policies and was available for consultation at short notice. I would definitely recommend David for any Visa/Immigration services you need.
