I like the lawyers but the receptionist and helpers need to be more focus on their job and the responsibilities that they have instead of talking personal issues with each other during office hours,

Raza, NO vengan aqui! Inexperienced people who do not deserve to call themselves professionals. They stole our money. Case # I cancelled my case with them and now they DO NOT WANT TO PAY ME BACK MY MONEY. I do not recommend this place! From my experience, they are in the business to make money more than helping people. This is the first review I make in regards to any business. I decided to do this because I do not want more people to be victims of radio advertisements, false hopes, and lies! I created a contract with this immigration firm on January 2023 in Fresno, CA. I told the paralegal I was applying for advance parole, to which he said "bring everything near the date you plan on exiting the country". They offered me a lawyer to answer my questions and represent me on the day of the appointment. Me thinking they are the experts, I signed the contract. Big mistake! Today is August 8, 2023, and I have not left the country. These are the reasons why I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE, and what I learned going through the roller coaster ride. 1. The paralegal lied to me. I NEVER SPOKE TO A LAWYER EVEN AFTER ASKING TO SPEAK WITH ONE numerous times. I learned there is only one lawyer in Fresno where I went, and most are in LA area. My case was sent to someone in LA area. 2. They will not tell you your case gets send to a lawyer in LA. They never told me. I went to their office in Fresno, I expected a lawyer in Fresno. 3. The person ( I think another paralegal) overseeing my case asked me for my documents, to which I did send and never heard back. I emailed her again, and called numerous times with the response that "someone will call me back". It was like this for almost 2 weeks until I decided to tell them that If no one calls me back, I am going to cancel my case. 3. Finally the phone receptionist told me she was going to transfer me to a lawyer. THEY LIED AGAIN! it was another paralegal who did not have a clue about my case. 4. This paralegal told me that he did not know my case existed because the first paralegal overseeing it quit, and did not send him my case ( From January to July, really?). Yes, my case was under a rock and no one was working on it, and I had already made arrangements to travel. 5. After sending my documents again to the new assigned paralegal, he said on email, that it will take at least 5 moths to hear back from USCIS. This was on July. 6. At this point I was irritated, overwhelmed, and angry so I decided to visit the office where I originally visited (Fresno CA) , and speak with the new paralegal assigned to me to cancel my case. To my surprise. I learned that this paralegal was also in Los Angeles area. 7. To make it worse, They had me call a separate number to initiate a cancelation process which takes 74 hours they said. MORE LIES! It took them 3 weeks to decide that I was ONLY GETTING LESS THAN HALF OF MY MONEY BACK. I called to speak to a supervisor, and they never reached back. At this point, I realized that THIS FIRM IS TERRIBLY BAD that they had to make a cancelation department to deal with the issues people have, and that management doesn't want to deal with. 8. I received a letter stating the amount of money I was getting back and how much they charged for the services they did. The letter included fees of conversations I had with paralegals and office assistants, all to which I made the calls searching for answers about the whereabouts of my case. I never asked them anything else. The calls lasted 1-3min. 9. I called the cancelation department again asking for a supervisor to speak to because this was unfair. I haven't spoken to one yet, and now they have me waiting another 74hours while they "revisit the work and time spent on my case". At this point I don't think they will refund me in full. I just don't want more people to fall victim to false promises and lies.

Few years back Bryant helped me beat my wrongful termination case. I recommend him if you go through the same situation.

Disgusting lawyer. Charged over $6000.00 and never once set foot in court. Never responded to emails/ calls and now my grandson lives with his narcissistic father. I think when my grandson needs therapy in the future because of this, the lawyer should be held responsible for not doing his job.

Update (5/2/2023): Before retaining this attorney please check out the following State Bar Complaints and Case Numbers: Brian Nicholas Folland [#157350] of Fresno, 2 years probation for failure to perform competently, improper withdrawal, failure to communicate significant developments, and others. Effective Date: May 5, 2023 Case No. 22-O-04973 Case No. 22-O-30935 This "law group" is about as unprofessional as it gets. Please do not waste your time and money on an unethical, unprofessional, congregation of liars. Mr. Folland is about as fake as the used car dealer at the lemon yard down the street. I attempted to get help on a family law case from Mr. Folland, after initially meeting with him and paying a $5,000.00 retainer fee. I shared access to a cloud drive which contained documents, pleadings, evidence, and files related to my case, to the list of names provided to me by the attorney (Mr. Foland). I received one phone call a week later from an outsourced (not actually part of The Folland Law Group), paralegal to go over my case, she informed me that the motion I was requesting was over her head and would need to redirect me back to the attorney (Mr. Folland) in order to proceed. Two weeks later, I finally received a call from the attorney (Mr. Folland), nearly 1 hour late than the scheduled time, and lasted less than about 1 minute and accomplished absolutely nothing. After discovering the unprofessionalism of the law group, I refused to sign or file a substitution of attorney and began seeking a return/refund of my retainer fee previously paid ($5,000.00). I also unshared access to my shared cloud drive. The date of the court appearance arrived and after hearing nothing from the attorney proceeded to appear in pro per, to my surprise the attorney (Mr. Folland) appeared via zoom for me with no substitution of attorney, without my permission, and oblivious to anything going on. This interrupted everything I had planned for the hearing and caused confusion as well as prevented me from representing myself at the hearing which was then continued. With no further contact with Mr. Folland beyond requesting my retainer fee to be refunded or returned, he again without discussion, without substitution of attorney, without my permission, and with absolutely no idea or knowledge of my case, appeared for me in court via zoom. This again interrupted my plan for the hearing, caused further confusion, and again prevented me from representing myself and caused the court to make an erroneous ruling against me which detrimentally affected orders being made regarding the sale of my home and move-out orders. After several more attempts of requesting my retainer fee refunded, I was then rudely confronted by Mrs. Folland and provided a detailed billing statement that stated I owed them $5,010.00 (My retainer was $5,000.00, what a coincidence!) for the work they had done, although providing absolutely no proof and not a single document has been produced or filed by them even to this day. I also have access logs, showing that not a single file on the share drive was ever accessed by anyone at the law group, in any capacity. So how could they have prepared or accomplished any sort of legal motions or paperwork without evidence or information? Bunch of Liars! EDIT: In response to the law firms cracker jack box excuse they provided, please do not be fooled. They are thieves plain and simple. This law firm has made it standard practice to collect retainer fees and then hit their clients with fraudulent bills and fees for work they never performed, do not be duped by them - you will lose your money and be worse than you were from the start. There is actual proof available if you looknat the cases I provided, this is not baseless claims.
