Even though I already hired an attorney who kind of messed up my case, David listened to me and helped me figure out what I can do to possibly fix it even though he didn't have to. Why you should fight for Your Rights on a DUI. Driving Under the Influence. On March 27, 2015 I, James was arrested and charged with a Felony, DUI and placed in the Fresno, California County Jail. I serve 287 days in custody fighting my case. I was parked, keys in the ignition, vehicle running, radio and air conditioning on, & asleep in the driver seat. Plus I had an open container, a box of wine and a bottle of vodka in the vehicle. Yes, I had been drinking and was way over the legal limit of .08. The Public Defender & District Attorney's office, first offer was 180 Days Prison Term. On January 7, 2016 the District Attorneys Office decided that they could not continue with the set date for Jury Trial, on January 11, 2016 due to lack of evidence, that (I was never Driving Under the Influence) & offered me a deal of (Drunk in Public) with no Probation. I was released from custody with time served. Plus Fresno County District Attorney's Office wanted to maintain their 98% conviction success. I hired Mr. Jones for a second offense Drunk driving, and he was Fantastic. I was going to loose my job because of the one year suspension of my license but Mr. Jones beat the DMV and I got a wet reckless right before trial. My alcohol level was .14. I don't know how he did it but the out come was great. I kept my license and my job. Couldn't be happier.
