There are very few times that I have given a business rating, but words and stars cannot even fully describe how thankful my family and I are to Mr. Peña at Peña & Bromberg for helping me win my Social Security ALJ hearing. Jesus walked me through all the forms, and when I called and needed help there was always somebody (not a call center or machine) there to help me. I live in the Los Angeles area and even though they are 172 miles away, it felt like they were right around the corner. Just because Social Security says NO, Mr. Peña might be able to get you a YES.

They get you your due process mine was quick

I was rejected in court twice. I did everything SSI asked of me. Turned in all requested documents. Jumped thru every hoop SSI put in front of me. Went into court said my peace to the judge and though each judge seemed sympathetic to my claim; I got rejected each time. This time round, I went in armed with Mr. Peña. The way he handled my case in court was impressive. It seemed; His positive demeanor and deftness of the law, set the tone of the hearing, and I walked away feeling that at least I was treated fairly but, that wasn't the end. It wasn't until I received a call from Mr. Peña's office informing me that I won. Honestly, I had wrote the case off as the final nail in the coffin because at this point I had tried everything. I can't adequately describe what this win means for me because due to my other legal claims involving my VA benefits I been living off of $140 a month for a couple years now but, that's another story. I would just want to express my "thanks" to Mr. Peña and staff. P.S. I have one criticism. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume all those practicing law in this field, in Fresno, are familiar with Fresno County Mental Health and how they operate. What I didn't like was being given documents for my doctor when it could've just as easily been FAX over to her office. Everybody in this process knows how all this works and has shaped policies to accommodate all the legal in's and out's of this process but, I'm expected to travel across town to my doctor's office instead of just sending a FAX which takes all of less than a minute. There was a couple women in the Peña office very adamant about me having to walk in and hand these papers in person instead of them sending it directly to my doctor. So, I owe another "thanks" to the guys that took the extra step of just sending those papers directly to my doctor and in some respects they played a huge part in winning my case because I wasn't going to do it. I live my life by my own rules. Sometimes I win. Sometimes I lose and I can honestly say Mr. Peña doesn't like to lose and will take that extra step to win.

If I could give Peña & Bromberg 10 Stars I would. They have been beyond great in getting my Social Security Disability. I have tried for years with others and if it wasn’t for Jonathan Peña I wouldn’t have been approved for my Social Security Disability. These are the best Social Security Disability Attorneys around.
