I hired Mr La Cilento over a year ago. Mr. La Cilento and Sue are dedicated to their clients. They actually care unlike most attorneys that are in the business for the alimighty dollar. Right away I knew I hired the right attorney. Mr. Lacilento fights for justice and he knows the law. He is very strategic and knows exactly what needs to be done. He truly looks out for his clients every step of the way. He is unbelievable in trial and uncovers what needs to be exposed. If you want an attorney that will fight for your rights and your child this is the attorney. I learned to sit back and follow Mr. Lacilento and Sue's directions. I highly recommend Mr Lacilento he is an expert in this corrupt system. I will not allow anyone else to touch my case. I have had other attorneys and Mr. La Cilento has had to pick up the pieces. He is even recommended by Shawn Mc Millian which speaks volumes. Mr. La Cilento works hard for me and all his clients he has clearly paved his way to the top. He will not mislead you he is honest and he will fight for you. Mr. La Cilento also has a strong faith which I believe drives his fight for justice in a corrupt system. Art and Sue truly are a blessing. I could not have made it through this system without Mr. La Cilento and his staff. I recommend Mr. La Cilento to everyone who needs an attorney. I was referred to Art by my daughter last year. At first I thought, this man doesnt listen to me, he's mean, he's tuff, and not the one that I will get along with. We had our differences but at the end of the day, Mr. Arthur has been on my side from the beginning. He has fought day end, day out to get me the justice I needed. We went to trial and believe me when I say, Art was OUTSTANDING!!! He caught the other party in so much dishonesty, shamfulness, and other things that I believe woudn't have happened without him. He fought to the very end to get me joint custody of my grandkids. He wasn't a push over, and he spoke up each time they tried to down play the love I have for my grandkids. I had been previously divorced and had been taken to the cleaners. I was unaware of how bad I had been taken advantage of by my first attorney and my ex until I hired Mr. LaCilento. He came in, cleaned up the mess, and went to work changing the custody agreement and deficiencies in child support. This ultimately extended and increased my child support payments. He also went after arrears which was to my benefit. He and his wife make a great team. They went to bat for me, educated me on the law, and utilized doctors reports and past history to obtain child support for my adult special needs child. At times I felt discouraged and defeated, but Mr. LaCilento assured me this was a stepping stone and would benefit me in the long run. It took 2 years, but he was right. He was fair on the price for his services and worked with me on payments. I am eternally grateful to him and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a divorce or family law attorney.

Art LaCilento is a great advocate for his clients. He will fight for what is right and he will also be honest and let the client know what can't be done. He is a good Christian man who lives by Biblical principles to fight for what is best for his client. My ex made outrageous demands in the settlement and Art said, "... I will be committing legal malfeasance if I were to let you agree to this." I negated the demands, and 2 weeks later we had a settlement that best benefited the child and me. A client cannot ask for a better advocate nor have a better fighter for what is right.

I have worked with Art for the past 15 years and have never seen a more dedicated trial advocate. When my family needed an attorney I retained Art and got great results. Art will not be intimidated by any opposition and will fight to the bitter end.

To give a little back round on the logistics of my case first. I was involved in a bitter custody battle with my x wife for 2 years and investigated 2 times by CPS receiving letters unfounded for sexual abuse and abuse etc. The investigation was very complex, ranging from police to social workers and all the claims were found to be untrue against me. Then I proceeded to a 3 day trial in family court in DTLA where the Judge decided I was a good father and the allegations of sex abuse and abuse never occurred.I was awarded joint custody with my X wife. 1 month later CPS came to my door and told me they were taking my child away because they believed I sexually abused my child. I was now in Dependency court, which by the way I have never knew existed. Think about it, I just finish family court which was very costly then I arrive in another court on the same charges. My first thought was Res judicata. How do you charge a person on the same charges that were already litigated by a prior Judge in a different court. My next thought was does this have to do with me being a Black male in America???? At that point I hired Arthur John Lacilento, and I was very skeptical because he is built like a Ford Truck, Tuff. Meaning he has a strong head and if you hire him you need to follow him down that road. It was very hard to snap in line when he called me on my bullshit or put me in line with his plan, and the plan was to win. I was so proud that City Counsel, Minor's counsel, X wife lawyer could not even get off a question without Art objecting and making them all look like fools. Bottom line is this Lawyer is hands down worth every cent. He won the case and reunited me with my daughter after almost a year. I asked for expedited trial but city always seems to try bleed you with appearances for 3 hours send you back home to make sure your still kicking lol. I think I had go that court like 20 times this year, and then 2 day trial. When its all said and done I will refer Art to anyone looking for a Winner, This man saved my life and brought my 9 year old daughter back in my life all charges dismissed. Don't ever ever take a deal in Dependency court if Arthur John Lacilento is representing you. City tried to offer me more deals then Black Friday and I laughed Because I knew Art was with me to the end. Thank you Art, and when they read my history they will say all charges dismissed. Legacy intact.

Art has been described as a fighter many times and having seen him in action, there is no question that that is exactly what he is. After hearing all the atrocious lies and twisted truths about me as presented by the opposing counsel, I didn't think my daughter and I had a chance in the world at having the allegations dropped. He proved me wrong. He's AMAZING. LET HIM DRIVE. He knows what he's doing and everyone in these courts knows and respects him. He had me and my family's best interests at heart at every turn and I believe he will do the same for you.
