Mr azami was more than helpful in attacking this case and calming the nerves that comes with the hassle of courts and the case in its self. I had the honor to have a long consultation with Mr. Azami. I was charged with PC 487 (Grand Theft) along with another co-defendant. Being at quite a young age, I was very worried about my record and of course, jail time. I was introduced to Mr. Azami from my co-defendents attorney. From the moment I sat in his office, he was so honest, reassuring, and kind. I recently had the misfortune of having to hire a lawyer for my son. He was accused of a serious crime and was facing life. I knew that I had to hire an attorney that was really going to go to bat for my son. That's exactly what I got when I hired Wais Azami. He was very attentive to my concerns and had the knowledge to address them. He was empathetic to my situation as a distraught mother. I told him my financial situation and he was willing to help me with his fee with a split payment plan which made it easier to hire him. He kept me very informed about any new revelations or changes in the case. He even came to my house to drop off papers to me at one point. I never had any trouble getting him on the phone. If he was unable to answer when I called he would text me to let me know when he would get back to me and then he always got back to me at that time. He spent countless hours on the phone with me discussing my sons case. I had a complete sense that he truly cared about my son as a person and that we weren't just clients to him. He even took the time to go to jail and check on my son once. He also called after the case was settled that night to make sure my son was released from jail and again the following week to make sure he had checked in with probation. I am extremely impressed with his dedication. Wais felt that it would be beneficial to have a co-counsel so he brought on Christian Kim. Although I didn't have much direct contact with Christian other than after court hearings, he was respectful and knowledgeable when I had questions. They were both in court at every hearing and I could tell by watching them negotiate that they were not giving up without a fight. Originally we were hoping for 2-3 years maximum but together they negotiated a deal that I didn't think possible and my son was released with time served (almost 8 months) and 5 years probation and he is eligible to reduce his charges after he's off probation. I am forever grateful for both of them! You definitely can't go wrong with either of them if you need a criminal defense attorney.

Law office of wais azami is honestly a breath of freash air. He makes you feel comfortable and does not speak to you in a judgemental tone. He talks to you not at you and that is a great feeling. I was surprised to hear him answer when i called. Most attorneys i called there secretary answered and attorney was always in a meeting. Wais is very easily accessible via his cellphone. When i called he immediately started asking questions and seemed to truly care about my case. When we finally met he had all the notes from our phone call and not only did i not have to repeat myself but he had already done some digging and had information about our case. Mind you we had not paid a dime. He truly helped us because you can tell he loves his job. He did not mind going that extra step. It is rare to find someone that does things because its the right thing to do and not because it will get more money in his pocket. We are a hard working family with 4 kids, wais was very aware of this and allowed us to make 2 payments to help us out. We were worried about the outcome, with a previous DUI on my husbands record and now another criminal charge and on top of all of this he is working on his papers. We though he would go to jail, pay thousands in fees or worse get deported. Wais did let us know of all the possibilities and to be on the safe side wais went to first court date by himself. He was always updating us on information that was given to him. He gave us any paperwork via email and/or text. At the last hearing we were already expecting to pay $300 court order donation plus court fees and probation and with a guilty plea. Wais surprised us and all charges ended up getting dismissed and no guilty plea and we only paid $75 court fees with no probation. This was a situation that had been weighing heavy on our shoulders and thanks to law office of wais azami our family can stay together without that case on our mind anymore.
