I’ve owed Mr. Maxwell Louie this review for about a year now. And while I’m much past due, I have had plenty of time to reflect on his legal services since I retained him as counsel. I came to Mr. Louie’s firm at one of the lowest points of my life. I was horrified to be in the situation I was in and couldn’t fathom a way out, until I found Mr. Louie and his firm. Mr. Louie and his firm were kind, caring and gracious in their representation and support. He was able to get me the desired outcome of my civil case all while being an incredible support in my dark time. My case went on much longer than it was expected, and never once did I have any issues in contacting Mr. Louie with questions or concerns. I was referred to Max and contacted him two days before the long New Year's Eve weekend. During our consultation Max took the time to fully understand my situation and gave his realistic point of view. Maxwell was very professional, knowledgeable, & trustworthy. Max, Guy, and the whole team were an easy hire for me. After the most traumatic and horrible night of my life, I was shocked, terrified, overwhelmed, and confused about the 2 felony charge allegations I was facing. From day one, Max and Guy acted immediately on my behalf to get these alleged charges reduced and dropped and ultimately enter a diversion agreement. They went above and beyond to make things happen in my case in a very timely manner, 2.5 months from alleged charges to diversion agreement. Within a week of hiring Max and Guy, they wrote a letter to the DA's office with personal letters gathered from friends and family about my character, which they hand delivered to the DA on the day of my arraignment in San Diego. They acted quickly but were very thorough and diligent when advising me on how best to precede through the case. I felt confident that Max and Guy were doing everything they could to get the best outcome for me. Max thoroughly explained my options and what was happening every step of the way. Max constantly checked in with me via calls, texts, and emails to make sure I was doing okay physically and mentally and feeling confident about what was happening with my case.
