My relationship on a professional level with Amy has spanned about 8 years now in a few matters stemming from the initial settlement. Which was handled in a very professional and efficient manner even with an extremely uncooperative and hostile other party. Next she mediated the credit card debt reduction incurred by the other party and due to the law, I was also held liable. The reduction was to say, at the least, huge. The next matter was to collect the cash insurance surrender value that was part of the settlement after 2 years and two other attorneys attempts (not my choice on attorneys). Amy then collecting a higher amount than initially expected was a very pleasant surprize. The last matter was to facilitate the splitting of the other parties IRA account as per the settlement. This with the other party being highly uncooperative and hostile throughout all matters. Although not handling the QDRO directly, she kept informed on the progress and facilitated the proceedings going forward when needed. This is why I have kept going back to the Law Offices Of Amy M Montes and will in the the future. In the future, hopefully I will just be going back to say hello.

Attorney Montes is, simply, the best! She's smart, dedicated, caring and has a tremendous amount of fighting spirit!! She's one of the good guys/gals. Amy took on my now fiance' s divorce and child custody case after he had dug himself into a hole due to an incompetent attorney. Amy was an answered prayer! She took on his case, was able to effectively deal with his (now) ex and her experience got him custody of his daughter. She doesn't know how to quit and is able to think on her feet, plus effectively deal with (crazy) opposing counsel. We owe Amy a tremendous debt of gratitude, and can absolutely not imagine being where we are today without her tireless effort. Amy Montes is the best!!
