As a real estate investor and licensed broker, I constantly use services from various attorneys based on their expertise. 3 months ago one of my clients encountered a problem acquiring a loan very close to the close of escrow. The owner of the property agreed to finance and carry the loan which required all documentation to be drafted and processed on an expedited manner. I hired Nema Daghbandan to handle the transaction and I am glad I did. He is one of the most knowledgeable attorneys I have ever worked with in handling such transactions. Nema was a pleasure to work with, kept me informed throughout the transaction, handled all communications with the escrow, and didn't send me a bill for every minute a sought his advice. I strongly recommend Nema to anyone that requires attorney service in owner financing situations.

Nema is a specialist in private lender law. As a private money loan broker, I have a continual need for guidance through the myriad of new regulations affecting our industry. Questions about compliance come up frequently, and I appreciate that when I call Nema, he almost always takes my call live. Having him as a consistent, reliable resource has been invaluable to our firm.

Was unimpressed with his requests to change paperwork and did not offer any assistance or hints on what or how the paperwork needed to be changed. He was paid in advance and it took him several days to waste my time with no results. Finally, after wasting all the parties time, the principals got together, went around him and moved forward.
