Where do I even begin?! Having Doug take me on as a client was such a blessing. He was exactly what I needed to get through such a difficult process of getting divorced. He has that tough love, straight shooter approach and had my best interest in mind the whole way through. Doug is not a fortune teller, but I would say he was pretty spot on about how he saw things were going to play out. I’m sure that is because he has so many years of experience under his belt. He will not nickel and dime you. He doesn’t charge for phone calls/text or emails (within reason, he’s not your therapist lol). He is always available when it matters most, he will not drag your case out just in the name of making money. I can go on and on. He made a difficult process, a lot less stressful. I just put all my faith in him and let him take the lead because I trusted the sound decisions that he made for me early on. You would be so lucky if Doug takes you on as a client. 10/10 recommend…times a million!!!

I am writing this review for Tyrone Maddison, I have been friends with and worked closely with him for 22 years, I got to hear all the horror stories his ex wife put him and their daughter through. Doug was able to navigate Tyrone through some incredibly difficult times, keeping him completely informed on the progress. Tyrone was able to contact Doug personally when he wasn’t able to understand a situation or needed further understanding. As Tyrone’s friend I want to also thank Doug for all his help guiding Tyrone through an extremely difficult time.

Doug represented me in my divorce. Let me say, if you want to hear the truth and not what you think you should hear, Doug is the attorney for you. Doug is extremely knowledgeable and will advise and communicate with you every step of the way. I still talk about this settlement conference hearing that we both attended with the other side. He was extremely polite with the other side. However, his knowledge about my case and what would actually happen if it went to a trial, had even the other attorney nodding yes to her client, that this was all they were going to get from us. Right then I knew I had the best attorney. Although the divorce took a while to complete, Doug kept me informed all the way to the end. I would also agree with other reviews that Doug's rate that I paid was less than the other side. If I had to suggest one thing to future clients, stay out of his way and let him do what you are paying him to do. He will fight for you all the way!!!

Yes I went in for an interview with this attorney and right away. He wanted a $5000 deposit and of course he got his deposit then he wants $500 an hour which was very unfair and we go to court and nothing was accomplished. He did not fight for me, but of course he took my money, I was better off representing myself. Had to get a new attorney. it’s sad when attorneys take it vantage of someone going to a really difficult times!! and this attorney quit on me and kept my money had to go complain to the state bar and they are doing an investigation.
