Being a very private person, I was quite aprehensive about writing this on a public forum. Ultimately, I felt it was the very least I could do. After being dragged into a federal case It was clear my current attorney was in way over his head. I interviewed several federal attorneys and my wife and I both felt Diane was the best fit. That decision was one of the best I've ever made. My charges were unfounded and from the beginning we felt that she believed us and would do everything she could. Without delving too much info the details; I was initially looking at 56 counts and 18-22 years. Diane worked with me and explained so much to me over the course of 3½ years. She never over promised, or sugar coated anything. Always straight up and blunt. We ended up with a plea deal for 1 count and probation. Additionally, we will be getting back the majority of assets that the gov. stole ( uh, I mean seized). Even being innocent, this is by far a better outcome than I could have ever hoped for. How do you fight against federal attorneys, federal investigators, and the IRS, in a federal court and hope to come out unscathed. I hope to NEVER do business with Diane again! But if I, or anyone I know, am ever in need of a federal court defense attorney, I know I have a damn good one.
