After being doored by a car in San Francisco and getting my wrist broken, I was out of work for months. Kyle is a very nice guy and he got me the maximum settlement, but in the process I feel like he helped me the minimum amount he could have. There was a lot of important info about billing and the settlement that he would know from experience but didn't tell me up front. Most importantly he didn't tell me that SFDPH would bill me immediately after treatment AND skim money off of my settlement for secret hospital bills that they hadn't told me about. I would have handled things differently with the hospital billing dept if I knew this information that he treated as totally obvious after the fact. I appreciate that he doesn't take a chunk of the payment for the property damage. That being said, I got less than half of the settlement amount and I'm still paying bills to SFDPH.

Kyle is the best! after my crash, I hit up a bunch of lawyers for advice, and Kyle was the only one really open to talking about a smaller case like mine. In particular, he was happy to discuss how I could handle the case on my own without his services, and was happy to advise on dealing with an insurance adjuster who ghosted me for months. In the end, we worked out an ad-hoc deal for him handling adjuster and hospital bill negotiations, which was extremely generous of his time. Overall, I appreciated his personal touch in a stressful time, especially discussing the joy of riding cargo bikes in the Berkeley hills!
