Dennis Fordham was awesome to work with. We had no idea what we actually needed to put together an estate plan. We went in not knowing what questions to even ask. Through conversation we came up with a plan. The cost was exactly what was quoted(even though we needed 2 extra appointments). Highly recommend!!

My family engaged Dennis A. Fordham to be probate attorney for our deceased relative's estate. Over the years we've worked with a number of law firms. By comparison, Dennis was outstanding. We were thrilled with his energy, knowledge and ability to navigate the court system. Under CA law a probate attorney's fee is calculated on a tiered statutory percentage of the estate's size (vs. an hourly rate). This suggests that some probate attorneys will seek to minimize their time spent. Not so with Dennis. While our probate's size (and fee) was modest, Dennis was tireless in ensuring we understood each step and considered ways to maximize the proceeds to the estate's beneficiary. Suffice it to say, Dennis was very generous with his time. While my experience with Fordham was limited to probate, I can only assume that he would bring his professionalism to other areas of estate planning. Therefore, I recommend Dennis Fordham without any reservations for his estate-related legal services. He's a good person.

Mr. Fordham just finished helping me with my estate planning. It included a trust, a will, power of attorney, and advanced directive. He explained other options available to me, some that did not include using his services. I felt he really had my best interest in mind. I don’t normally write a review but my attorney Dennis Fordham is definitely worthy of a review. I first met with Dennis in February of 2020 to assist me with an estate settlement. There was not a will or trust and as a result this estate was much more complicated that I had originally thought it would be. It involved two pieces of real estate (one of which had an unclear title), and a large amount of personal property which had to be inventoried. Dennis did a great job. He was able to find the appropriate people to assist with getting an inventory completed. We also had to have 2 environmental reviews done. It would have been impossible for me to do this job by myself. He was always available to speak with me at anytime. I highly recommend him. Manuel Borges

We recently needed to update our trust, which was woefully outdated and weighing on our minds. Like many people out there, we dreaded the paperwork and kept putting it off. We did a Google search and came across lots of positive reviews of Dennis Fordham. We were so happy to have found him. Dennis made the whole process seamless and easy. He is extremely thorough and engaging. We now have a beautiful binder with all the documents our children need after we’re gone, making their lives easier. We now sleep better at night, knowing we’ve taken care of business.

We needed to update our living trust and I knew Dennis Fordham from Lakeport Rotary and thought he would do good job. We weren’t looking forward to the process because we knew it was going to be exhausting and time consuming. Dennis and his crew made the whole process extremely easy for us. He was very professional and asked a lot of questions to figure out exactly what was best for us.
