I strongly DO NOT recommend this attorney.! There are more reasons than I can share here. It took her 20 months to secure spousal support for me. After two years and her inability to draw a conclusion to my case , I eventually had to hire a NEW ATTORNEY. If you disagree with her, she’ll send you OPT OUT papers. Which means she will stop representing you, but hold onto the $$,$$$ thousands of dollars that you have paid her. She did this twice to me. Save your money and your time and hire a different attorney. She only will give you headaches, and excuses. BTW, she does not have an office. The address she gives on this site the UPS store. She will meet you at the Denny’s restaurant across the street, on Avenue K. , in Lancaster, CA. And exchanges paperwork in the parking lot. Often times late, in the dark . You wait there and a car pulls up and you hand a woman your files . Very unprofessional, as whom ever is sitting at the table next to you can hear what you are discussing . It’s difficult to hold a conversation in a public setting, especially when it’s over sensitive legal matters. I don’t believe the healthcare professional that recommended her knew this, and I had urgent need of an attorney. I thought that meeting was just a one time place, for convenience. But we met there every time for business, unless we were in the courthouse, then we met in the cafeteria. And I paid for my drink every time! Plus the tip. Unbelievable. That’s why I’m so happy for Google reviews are available.

Even though Ms. Christiansen represented my children over 10 years ago, I will be forever grateful for her service and care after dealing with a horrific domestic abuse scenario with their father. Highly recommend her as a compassionate and loyal lawyer!

She thought it would be a great idea to give my abusive ex husband joint custody. Ignored all the red flags and history. Because of that ignorance my ex once again went against our court orders(as I kept showing patterns of)and took our son to another state without notification to me or the court. Horrible attorney was appointed to the case and didn't care just wanted to get it over and off her desk.

I can’t say enough good things about Solveig. After battling and dealing with domestic violence for years all while not being heard or taken seriously by the courts, she helped me put my case together and I ended up with full custody and a DV restraining order. I never would have had that outcome if it weren’t for her. She was poised, presented factual evidence, always lead me in the right direction, and best of all; she was affordable. I am forever indebted to this woman!

Horrible minor’s counsel. Did absolutely nothing to improve the child’s situation and dragged the case on for so long just to milk the county for money.

Solveig is amazing. She took on an EXTREMELY hard case that had been going on for YEARS with rampant manipulation and dishonesty. She was able to show every bit of it and open the eyes of the judicial system. For a parent who had been fighting for years just to see their children to walk away with custody was a miracle no one had anticipated. I would not want to be on the opposite side if I was doing anything underhanded.

I needed her help the next day for an ex parte. She was extremely prepared and was very professional in her representation of me. She made an incredible difference in how my life was to be. She was awesome and I am grateful for her services!

I would not recommend her . If you can find some one else do so. This attorney is Dishonest and just wants to hurry and get the case off her desk. Does not truly care about families
