These people don’t call back. I called one day and was told someone would get back to me in thirty minutes. Crickets. Eight days later I called back and was told someone would call in an hour. I’m still waiting. The woman should have either said no new cases are being taken, or I do t want to work anymore instead of lying twice. Horrible practicing .

It's amazing how we can be fooled by attorneys. It's the one profession in the world where they get paid BEFORE they perform any services for us. Yes, ye ol' "retainer". This firm did a great job in convincing me to give them my money. But when it came down to them performing any services for me, they failed miserably. It is an office filled with women "pushing paper". All interaction is done through these women, and actually speaking with an attorney to get anything done costs "extra". Regarding a standard unlawful detainer action, I found Hoffman & Pomerantz to perform very well at taking my money. But they failed miserably at getting the job done. They simply don't care at all about the product they're pimping. They only care about keeping the money rolling in. In my case I had to pay an hourly rate every time I spoke with an attorney regarding my case, IN ADDITION to their standard rates they charge for eviction services. All the "services" are handled by the measly office workers, which were downright bungled one after another after another. Each time a task was bungled by the staff, I was told that I am welcome to discuss the next step with an attorney (at $200+/hour). So many mistakes and delays that I finally realized that if I wanted LEGAL REPRESENTATION, that I need to take my case to a REAL law firm. Which is what I ended up doing. End result- A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME & MONEY spent on Hoffman & Pomerantz. And this is a substantial amount when we consider that deadbeat tenants are sucking our money away all during the time that Hoffman & Pomerantz are taking additional money from us and simply stalling. . STAY AWAY from Hoffman & Pomerantz and hire a REAL law firm,
