The receptionist Leticia is very rude.
We are clients and whenever we call she never seems to have a good attitude.
I just finished speaking to her and she rudely told me she can't help me. I asked for someone else to speak to and she kept cutting me off. We pay money to this firm so that they can help us and not so that they can be rude to us. I will be looking elsewhere so that i can hire any other law firm but I refuse to continue paying when I all get from the receptionist is bad attitude! I am so disappointed and to keep in mind I myself have been employed by big companies to work as receptionist and in customer care, honestly bad attitude isn't appreciated anywhere and can only get you into trouble and make your company look very bad. I will never recommend anyone to this firm just because of Leticia's bad attitude towards clients.

Steve Scardino is very knowledgeable in the area of law enforcement related workers compensation. Most of all he made me feel more as a supported friend than a client while looking out for my best interests.

Kat and Richard made my day! The process was long but my experience with them was exceptional. They were both professional and answered my questions straight with pleasant patience. I would refer them to my friends, coworkers and family without a doubt!

This is my first experience I had with Erika Vargas where I had refered a person to the firm she works for. The company and the company's insurance was giving a hard time to an employee. Erika and her team worked hard untill they got all the issues resolved. Great job!

Mr. Steve Scardino performed beyond all expectations. Not only did he settle my case (I should have gone to GEK first), but the level of professionalism I received was unbelievable.

I can't thank attorney Jill Singer enough for providing me with strength and council, while being so concerned for my health. Workplace injuries can be frightening, frustrating, and tiring, so I wanted a lawyer that would fight for my place at the table. Jill is one of those special lawyers dedicated to the mission of fighting for the rights of struggling and injured workers.
She fought for every bit of money that the insurance companies tried to skimp on. My initial TTD payments were nearly 60% of what I was owed before she argued for me. Jill was very tactful and tenacious with the insurance company, while providing me with the comfort of knowing I was in good hands and didn't have to worry about the legal side of things. I would recommend her to anyone who has an open workers compensation case, or may need to open a case.

My husband and I were in search of a great lawyer after my husband suffered an injury that was worked related. Thank God Joanna Sacavitch was recommended to us. We had no idea what a battle we were going to have on our hands when my husbands employer did not want to admit his injury was work related. However, Joanna was a warrior and fought hard for us. She was always available to answer our questions and to reassure us when we felt defeated. She never stopped fighting and gave us hope. She is honest, hard working, and extremely knowledgeable. Joanna was upfront about what we should and could except during this journey and I greatly appreciated that. She answered emails and returned phone calls in a timely manner. An ultimately she won our case. Joanna Sacavitch is a top notch lawyer. If you want the best look no further.
Ron Christensen assisted Joanna on our case and was a huge asset. Ron was extremely knowledgeable about Calpers and was able to answer any and all questions we had regarding retirement. He replied to my emails immediately and was always willing to call me if I had any concerns. This team is dedicated to their clients.

I have known the attorneys at GEKLAW for more than 30 years, and have always found them to be professional and responsive to their clients’ needs. They also stay on top of all of the changes in the Workers’ Compensation system, which is vital for obtaining the best possible outcome for their clients. And, because they conduct many trainings for a wide variety of the Southland’s major unions, they educate the stewards, business reps and the rank and file members on what to do if they are hurt at work. The attorneys and their bilingual staff members do an outstanding job of keeping the clients informed throughout the course of the Workers’ Compensation claim. It is a true team effort.

I entrusted Adam with my life he did not let me down. After I was injured everything in my life seemed difficult, but he walked me through the whole process never leaving me guessing and all ways getting back to me when he said he would.
I will always be grateful to Adam for fighting so hard to get me to Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center to receive my care.
My life today even though I am in a wheelchair, is as busy as it has ever been. I have a thriving art business, I volunteer at Rancho; I am married and have 3 children and a beautiful grandson: I am living life to its fullest.
