Having Beverly Law on my side changed everything after my accident. It was hard to get the strength to fight back after being involved in a truck accident. My body was in pain (specifically my back) and my insurance company was not offering me fair compensation for recovery. There was no way I would be able to go back to living a normal life without medical treatment and though they covered the cost of my car they weren’t offering me much more than that! This is when I started looking into legal representation. I got in contact with Michael after reading through multiple yelp reviews of lawyers in my area. I figured I would give him a call and see if he could help me. He answered the phone so quickly it was like he was expecting me. We talked for a while and he made me feel confident that he was the right choice. He had worked with many insurance companies in the past to get fair settlements for other clients and after speaking with him I felt like he could get a fair settlement for me too. From start to finish this process took about 16 months. I had to have a lot of patience as the Insurance company was pretty set on not compensating me for the injuries I sustained in the accident. However, Michael and the Beverly Law team were never discouraged. The team communicated with me throughout the whole process. If I had questions I could call or email them and they got back to me pretty quickly each time. In the end, Beverly Law helped me to settle my case for more than what I had originally expected and I am happy am on the road to a full recovery and have the means to receive the treatments I need.

Beverly Law Firm is a great law office filled with hard working people. Alex does a great job updating you on your case. Martha will always offer you snacks and drinks when you come into the office to meet with Michael. I don’t care about what diet you may be on, make sure to accept the snacks! The best chiropractors and surgeons in Los Angeles County have direct contact with Michael’s team and make space on their calendars for his clients. If you are not 100% confident about a certain treatment, Michael will arrange a call for you with a previous client whose had that treatment so that you can make an informed decision to do whats best for you and your body. Overall, I highly recommend Michael and his team. They are a lovely bunch of people who are doing their best to help those who have gone through life-changing experiences. I’m happy to know Michael and to have him in my corner. I would only ever have Michael Shemtoub represent me in the future because I doubt I’d ever come across a staff as kind and caring as his.

I’m sitting still in traffic when a van plows into me from behind, totals my full-sized pickup, permanently injuring my neck, knocking me unconscious, and sending me for an ambulance ride to the hospital. Slam dunk liability, right? Wrong! The other driver’s insurance company completely ignored me. Nothing. Not even a polite response. Luckily, a friend told me to call Brian Breiter, who said basically, “Let me handle it.” And he did. Brian and his team made sure I got the medical care I needed, and they stared down the insurance company. Brian told me from the beginning it would take a long time – “They are going to drag this out and try to make you quit.” Well, it did take a long time, but we didn’t quit, and the other side eventually settled – just a couple of days before the trial was set to start. Call Brian! Or Mark or Jeff or Peter! They will take care of you like a friend.

Brian Breiter is a terrific attorney. My mother had an injury that left her physically disabled and emotionally scarred. Brian and his wonderful offices were able to get the full settlement amount in the most painless and compassionate way possible. My sister and I were both summoned to the deposition to speak about her injuries and the impact that they've had on her life since, who she was as a person and her abilities prior, and the facts of the incident itself as we remember it. Brian was incredibly forthright and patient with me. It put me at ease, so that when I was asked to speak I could be honest and genuine, and was able to take my time and give the best testimony I was capable of. The entire thing was extremely difficult, owing to the stress and pain of seeing my mother be changed by circumstances beyond her control. Having Brian there as her support was absolutely crucial and a huge relief for me and my sister. He is also extremely amiable, honest, and intelligent. I do not believe we would have had the positive outcome--monetarily, but more importantly emotionally--with any other attorney. It was extremely important to me that my mother not be overburdened by the case, as she has had rehabilitation from the injury to worry about, and Brian and his offices have went above and beyond for her. Our whole family is extremely grateful to them.

In 2013 we were hit by a drunk driver (almost head on--thank God he swerved at the last minute) on a weekend morning. I knew Brian Breiter had helped several friends of mine so I called him later that day after ambulance trip to the hospital, scans, exams and treatment. He picked up right away, was calming, compassionate, and confident as he advised us of what to do--the first being "focus on getting well, and I'll take care of the rest". (Some things I've learned after getting to know Brian: He truly loves to help people, he's incredibly smart, tenacious, funny, generous, and he doesn't get ruffled by all the crud that goes on in the insurance and legal industries. He understands how to navigate it and come out on top). The accident gave me 4 injured discs in my neck and bad daily chronic nerve pain (still ongoing) that affected my ability to drive, sit, sleep, care for myself, or have energy for anything else, as well as a broken foot. I had no idea who to go to for help, advice, or treatment. By Monday, Brian's team had an appointment for me with an orthopedic surgeon and physical therapy, and repair for our car. I was given realistic information up front from Brian that these kinds of cases take time, and because of his many years of successful experience with personal injury cases, he gave me perspective on a likely progression of treatments that might be advised to me or I might want to seek out before surgery (which prepared me for the various neurosurgeon/ortho meetings I had and decisions I had to make). He also knows the best doctors in town. I began my long journey of meeting doctors, tests, MRIs, treatments, more PT, all of which I couldn't afford out of pocket initially until I got better insurance. Brian, Mark and the team negotiated great treatment on liens so I could continue to work on healing, which in itself is very stressful, and thoughts of what the future would bring physically and financially were very scary. They even negotiated with my insurance company for reduced rates. I never had to answer a letter, phone call, or deal with insurance companies or the other person's attorneys; Brian and his team handled it all, which gave us incredible peace of mind. He patiently held firm as the other side continued to low-ball us. Brian knew we had a good case and how to present our case in the best possible way. Brian, Mark, Jeff, and team prepared us for the deposition (Jeff was with us and did an excellent job of advising and protecting us); they sent a nurse with me to support me during the defense doctor's examination to ensure that I would only have to answer the necessary questions. We were prepared and never alone each step of the way. Brian held firm, and the defense attorneys settled for the highest amount without us having to go to trial. I'll be honest; these kinds of life changing events are really stressful, even with help. I can't imagine what it would have been like without Brian and his team. We are really grateful for Brian, Mark, Jeff, Kamesha, Jennifer, Clint, et. al. This is why everyone calls and refers Brian, and you will too.

Brian Breiter and his team deserve each and every one of these stars.. and then some. It's definitely obvious why they have so many excellent reviews from clients that they have helped. My brief story: I was hit by a car while biking, the car fled the scene. On top of the black eyes, contusions and bruises, probably a concussion, I also had a fractured arm. I was unhappy with the medical care I was receiving and was also afraid to even contact my insurances (I thought they might raise my rates, who knows). I really didn't even know who to call. I spoke to a friend about my situation and he recommended that I call Brian immediately. Brian took my call, gave me a plan of action and put all of my worries to ease. He also sent me to see another orthopedic surgeon that I felt much more comfortable with. I'm finally all healed up (thankfully the fracture didn't require surgery), done with physical therapy, and besides a little PTSD that still lingers I'm going to be ok :) Brian and his team handled everything with my insurance and went COMPLETELY above and beyond what I ever could have expected from an attorney's office. But, clearly they aren't just an average attorney's office, they are in fact superheroes! I am so appreciative, beyond grateful, and would highly recommend them.

Brian and his firm are absolutely the best. They were sincere, empathic, and thorough from beginning to end. Their communication was straight forward and clear, and they approached everything with fairness from consultation to justice. I'm so happy that I chose to work with Mark Rubashkin and Brian Breiter at the Law Offices of Brian Breiter! Could not be more thrilled. I knew from the moment I started working with them, that they really care about people. They were so concerned that I take care of my health, and see doctors to make sure my injuries were handled. I was hit by a drunk driver in Brentwood, CA. Mark was never pushy or disrespectful. I was always treated as if my case were the most important case they had. I know I chose to work with people with impeccable integrity, and it showed every time I met with them. I was reassured that my case would get me the dollar figure I needed (a lot!), if I trusted that they knew what they were doing. There was no pressure to do what I felt was not in my best interest. THAT IS INTEGRITY. Well, we JUST SETTLED! I got more than I expected, but it was the amount that Mark had told me they would be targeting (though, of course, he could not promise). I would also say, you should work with them, absolutely. You should trust them, and let them do their work. I didn't call them very often over the three years it took to settle, but I was always informed of anything going on in a timely manner. I phoned up Brian after being involved in a car accident in Santa Monica where I was injured. I got in contact with Brian after seeing his pretty incredible yelp reviews and thought this guy must be able to help. I had found another attorney on Google a few weeks before and they were awful. Brian and Mark made me feel comfortable right away that someone was actually dealing with my case. The insurance company offered me a terrible valuation for my totaled car, mark and Brian actually got me double the initial offer from the insurance company, and made sure that the most important thing right off the bat was me getting the correct medical attention to get me feeling better. Throughout the whole process these guys were pretty great, I would defiantly recommend Brian and mark to anyone. When there are a lot of guys out there that aren't willing to go the distance, these guys are!
